So if you're confused by the title name, I'm basically just saying Amazon Cinderella.
It sounds like a disease name, so I thought it was fitting.

This looks like some woke garbage some old people think teens want.

And I hate that they made the Fairy GodMOTHER a gay man.

1. MANY gay men have said they're so tired of the gay best friend trope! They're always flamboyant, and so upbeat. Never a best friend who just happens to be gay.

2. I, personally, prefer seeing a woman empower another woman!
These days in a lot of shows, they're always trying to claw at each other until they come to some big realization that "Yay! We're equals!"
No, the original seemed, to me, like a grandmother being loving and helpful. Sorta like a mischievous grandma giving her grandchild something that the child's parents said no to (becaude Cinderella's dad was still alive in the Grimm version).
So they're taking away the much needed thing of a woman helping another woman from the kindess of her heart.

And she falls in love with a prince at first sight, so they'll be woke about other things, but not this troupe. (Ironic since this is the same actress who's character said "You can't marry a man you just met").

So this man she's fallen in love with asks her to marry him, and she says no "for her buisness."
Lady! This will not only get you out of your abusive home, but you can afford the materials to make dresses, you can actually start your own shop now, he'll probably help you, AND your newfound name as a princess would make people interested in looking and make your buisness boom!
There's a difference between being independent and just stupid! You can still be very independent without being completly on your own! Even the nost strongest willed person needs a hand here and there!

And it seems like they were pulling some from other Cinderella versions.
The mice friends who we see talking (Disney's classic version)
Using a cover of Somebody To Love (like Ella Enchanted did, which was a GREAT movie!)

So Amazon shows are just being made by adults trying to be cool in kids eyes.

Hel, if it weren't for the PG rating, I would've thought this would be for an older audience!
