So I didn't know about this until Sofia_04_Cat said something about it. But I'm still spreading the word because most people don't even look at this stuff when they open WP (as far as I've noticed), but should be spread.
I may not be Latino, but this still pisses me off because I know dam well they don't like the word Latinx, I've never met a single Latino person who actually liked this, or any who didn't hate it. Literally every single one has hated Latinx.
If one doesn't see Latino as a gender neutral name, then suck it up or use Hispanic.
