Blood Yum

Basically, I don't even need to find an article for this because it's all in this one image.

(I tried finding a video though. But it's all cis men talking about it. And I want a AFAB's opinion on it since this is for, y'know, AFAB anatomy. So I, an AFAB, am saying something)

Let me introduce you to this very real cereal:

Period Crunch.

Yes, it's what it sounds like...

Unless it makes the milk taste like blood, I don't want it

Unless it makes the milk taste like blood, I don't want it. XD
But it says it's Raspberry flavor.

...the flavor makes it worse. ._.

In all seriousness though-
Periods are like poop, but exclusive to one birth-sex type. Yes, they're natural body fluids that naturally have to leave our bodies. But just like poop, it's simply something you just don't discuss at the start of your day as a first meal!

Just because it's natural doesn't mean it isn't gross! I'm AFAB, been dealing with my period for years, and I STILL find it gross!
If this isn't the right situation to discuss poop, then this isn't a normal conversation to discuss periods either.

I feel like we're living in an episode of South park. WTF is going on?

How much you want to bet this is more of a marketing tactic than actually trying normalize periods?

Like, people would buy it because of the gross factor, Food and Non-food YT reviewers will make videos about it, which would make people curious about and buy it. And business is booming.

I can't cope with the fact that this isn't a joke. I tried lookin up if it is, and nothing. Just stuff saying it's here or it's coming.

What did I do in a past life to be brought to this timeline!?

In what world is crunchy raspberry flavored uterus's okay? Ours, apparently. T~T

I do agree, there should be a more healthy discussion on it. Girls shouldn't be freaking out because they were never told they would start bleeding suddenly. And boys so if they ever have a daughter of their own or have to deal with a younger girl on her period, then they don't see it as weird and wrong.

But this? This ain't the way to do it. This is just nasty.
What next?

Baby-O's: little fetuses to discuss birth control and abortions?

Spermis: little tadpole-shaped cereal to discuss how men help in creating a baby?

BOO-bies: that chesticles cereal meant to explain why female's grow natural lumps on their chests and men don't?

Poodles: Discuss how poop is made and the issues of IBS?

I wouldn't be surprised if any of these became real.

Just...just WHY!?
