I just realized that WPs new update has a Text-To-Speech thing.
I never update WP anymore, usually gets slower. But I did this time, since I might tag some of my books as TTS.
You can't have it unless you update.
Wow. The one good thing they've actually given an update to.
I think anyone can do it? All you gotta do is add "texttospeech" to the tags of your book, and your studio can now be listened to.
If I'm wrong, let me know.
That's actually something that can be helpful for maybe people who learned to read later than they should've. And I guess for authors, that would work to hear their story and listen for any spelling or grammatical errors. Dunno if it works for before publishing. If not, it's still good!
I hope that if they don't have a draftings version, they make it for authors to listen to their drafts before publishing it, too. It's easier to catch errors with audio than reading it.
Downside though:
My books take a little longer for me to load. First I have to wait like 30 to 40 seconds for all my books to load, and then another 30 to 40 seconds just to look at the chapters of an individual book.
