Ya, Comics are better-

The video is new, but, like the YouTuber says, the advertisement is from 2012.

So basically, DC says buy their comic because it's american, while Manga isn't. But yet, doesn't make actually good comics.

Looking at the "I'm Not Starfire" comic, this didn't age well.

This is why manga is better. Most of it is original, isn't pandering.
Now in recent years, stuff like LGBTQ+ and disabilities is being better represented in manga than any comic.

When comics DO have this stuff, they either kill off these kinds of characters, or make them WAY cliche and annoying, and kinda bratty.

And sometimes, American made books get good Manga adaptations!
Where as comics like to stray.

And DC has REALLY fallen there. With their Teen Titans Go, their pandering stuff, it's just UGH.

So their "Buy good american comics!" didn't age well. XD

3 out of 19 or 20 of my graphic novels are comics. And comparing them, the manga's are better art wise and story wise.

Maybe make better original non-pandering comics, and maybe people will buy them more?
