ch. 27: Abuelita's 'special' cookies

Aria went to the doctors and they said she's dealing with brain fog and her brain is trying to adjust to everything new now but she doesn't have any old-timers or dementia

It's ava's and Claire's second year anniversary they are at the grill having their anniversary dinner they're talking and laughing

'I don't understand why you put up with me all this time?' Claire asks, ava smiles

'That makes two of us' ava says

'You're no walk in the park either' Claire says

'I didn't say that I was' ava says

'Eh, you kinda of did' Claire says

'When?' Ava asks

'Just now you said quote 'that makes two of us' meaning you think that you're perfect and I'm not' Claire says

'Babe, I didn't mean it like that' Ava says, Claire starts laughing

'Oh' Ava says, she throws a piece of bread at her

'Hey, no throwing food at the table or you won't get any tonight' Claire says, she puts the piece of bread on her plate

'You been more ornery then usual, wait a minute let me see your eyes?' Ava asks, Claire looks at her, her pupils Dilated

'Oh no, those cookies that you ate earlier was they your Abuelita made?' Ava asks, Claire starts laughing at nowhere but controllable though

'Oh my god' Ava says, she puts her hands over her face, Claire stops laughing

'Are you mad that I ruin our dinner?' Claire asks, ava drops her hands and looks at her

'Babe, we just finished our meal, we're waiting on the bill can you tame yourself until we leave?' Ava asks

'Well I have all dinner long' Claire says

'True' Ava says, they get the bill Claire pays and ava leaves the tip then they leave

They get back to Mona's and Aria's house Claire goes upstairs and changes into her night clothes ava walks in the kitchen Savannah and Amanda are sitting at the counter Mona is cleaning the dishes and Aria is standing behind her staring at her ass

'How was your second year anniversary dinner?' Aria asks, she looks at her, ava walks up to her

'How was it staring at your wife's ass in front of your daughter and her girlfriend' Ava whispers in her ear

aria starts laughing, ava stands beside Mona they make eye contact and ava winks at her Mona looks at aria then at ava then at Amanda and Savannah they laughing

'Wait you guys noticed too?' Ava asks, she starts laughing

'Yeah, we didn't want to be rude and embarrassed her' Amanda says

'Am I missing something here?' Mona asks, Aria walks up behind her

'Me staring at your ass' Aria whispers in her ear, Mona smiles and turns around she starts kissing her, then Claire and Abuelita walks in

'Put it on ice guys' Claire says

'Ooooooo' everybody says, they stop kissing and looks at her

'You, I have a bone to pick with you' Ava says, she points her finger at her

'Who me?' Abuelita asks, she puts her head on her chest

'Yes you, you gave my girlfriend drug cookies and made her higher then Savannah was' Ava says

'Abuelita!?' Mona says

'She asked for some to calm her anxiety down before your guys date she couldn't smoke a joint like she always does because you guys would have seen the smoke' Abuelita says, they all looks at her

'You smoke marijuana?' Ava asks Claire, Claire runs upstairs and they hear her bedroom door slam, they all jumps

'Oh that's what she meant by don't tell anybody else' Abuelita says

'I only asked her to make sure I heard Abuelita right, I don't mind her smoking marijuana if it helps with her anxiety, why didn't she tell us?' Ava asks

'We knew about it, her anxiety was getting worst when this we thought Jeremy was behind everything started' Mona says

'Nobody else knows except for the people in this room, let's keep that way and she didn't tell you guys especially you ava is because she knows that you're against drugs' aria says

'And she didn't want to smoke in front of Savannah because of past with drugs too' Mona says

'Actually me and her smokes together when our anxiety acts up but that's all we smoke I promise' Savannah says, Amanda looks at her

'I know I could smell the marijuana on you from time to time, like ava said I don't mind you smoking it if it helps with your anxiety, but but when did you guys start smoking together?' Amanda asks

'Since her anxiety started to get worst this summer when she had to leave our parents' Savannah says

'Separation anxiety, I knew it was bad but not this bad, I'm going to talk to her' Ava says, she goes upstairs

Claire is on her bed on stomach crying facing the pillows then ava walks in and she sits down beside her legs

'Savannah told us that you guys have been smoking since you moved away from your guys parents and that your anxiety has gotten worst since then and when this whole we thought Jeremy was behind everything, I know what i said about drugs what i meant was I don't like people doing drugs if they are just having fun with them or mixing them together, not the way Sava did what she did was the opposite, but if marijuana helps you with your anxiety then I'm fine with it, if you that I'm disappointed in you for going back on your word I'm not because I know how bad your anxiety attacks gets sometimes, I'm going to be to support you anyway you can't get rid of me that easily' Ava says, Claire turns on her side and then sits up

'Aw' Ava says, she wipes tears away

'I don't smoke all the time just when my anxiety gets to the point where medicine can't, like tonight I did ask my Abuelita for some of her marijuana cookies and wherever she gets her weed at it kicks in right away' Claire says

'I'll say' Ava says, Claire chuckles

'I'm sorry that I lied to you' Claire says, ava smiles

'It's fine, I get it, if you want to smoke at our dorm just do it outside on the balcony' Ava says, Claire smiles

'Well do, thank you for understanding' Ava says

'Of course, like i said I see how bad your anxiety attacks gets' Ava says

'Her weed kicks in right away but it doesn't stay long' Claire says

'Maybe not to have that long effect but long enough to relax not like the weed Savannah had' Ava says

'Probably, is Amanda mad at Savannah?' Claire asks

'No, I'm not, I knew she smoking again from time to time because I could smell the marijuana smell on her, as long as it's marijuana then I'm fine with that only drug' Amanda says, she looks at Savannah

'She doesn't smoke all the time with me, only when she feels like which isn't that often either' Claire says

'Like you said before you're in control now you don't want to go through what you did before be dependent on it again' Ava says

'Yup' Savannah says

'You guys ok?' Amanda asks

'Yeah we are' Ava says, she kisses Claire, Savannah stands behind Amanda and puts her arms around her and kisses her on the head Amanda smiles
