ch. 6: family dinner

Savannah, Amanda, Ava and Claire are having going to have dinner with Mona and Aria, Savannah is the first one there because she just got of work then Ava walks up to her

'Hey, I see you're the first one here, I'm surprised usually your parents are here first' Ava says

Ava sits beside her there's a empty chair on the other side of Savannah for Amanda at the head of the table on Savannah's and one for Claire on the other side of Ava at the head of the table

'I know it's weird, I started to worry because I thought that something happened to them so I texted Mona and she said sorry mi amor we got a late start because we didn't have any hot water for the past couple of days and the plumber just left so we're about to leave too, that was a couple of hours ago' Savannah says

'Oh hopefully they are here soon' Ava says

'Me too, where's Amanda and Claire at?' Savannah asks

'Claire is parking the car and Amanda had to go to the bathroom' Ava says

'Oh, well hopefully I'll be in a good mood when Amanda gets here' Savannah says

'Hey' Amanda says, she walks up to Savannah, and Savannah looks at her

'Hey' Savannah says, they kiss, Amanda sits down at the head of the table

'Why, what's wrong?' Amanda asks

'I know that this shouldn't bother me because I don't know this person but I follow them and liked a couple of their pictures and I went to check if they added their story couldn't find them looked at my liked pictures and they wasn't there so they blocked me just because I liked a couple of their posts, that's what pisses me off the most why post anything on Instagram have people like them then blocked them later on' Savannah says

'That's BS right there' Ava says

'Eh it's their lost besides you have our social media so you spam us if you want to' Amanda says, Savannah chuckles

'I already do that' Savannah says, they laugh

'Yeah like Amanda said don't worry about now you know how they really are on social media compare to in real life so you're not missing out on anything in their life' Ava says

'That's true too' Amanda says

'Now I know why I don't like people' Savannah says

'Same here' Amanda and Ava says at the same time

'Hey, what did I miss' Claire says, she walks up to Savannah and hugs her

'Your sister is sad because someone rejected her on Instagram' Ava says, Claire stands up

'You mean blocking?' Claire asks

'Yup' Amanda says

'Oh they are probably not the people that you want to know just because they look nice on social media doesn't mean they are in real life' Claire says

'That's what I said too but in a different way' Ava says

'Yeah not worth my time anymore, did you see mom's at all coming in?' Savannah asks Claire

'No, why they are not here yet?' Claire asks, she sits down at her chair

'No, I haven't heard anything since a couple of hours ago' Savannah says, then Mona and Aria walks up to them

'Sorry that we're late' Aria says, they hug and kiss everybody and sits down across from Savannah and Ava

'I'll tell you guys one thing never pay somebody off any website just call them' Mona says, they laugh

'Learn that hard way didn't you?' Ava asks

'Yup' Mona says

'I don't know about you Claire but I feel weird sitting at the head of the table because it's usually your parents' Amanda says, everybody laughs

'It does a little bit' Claire says

'Eh we retired after you guys got married' Mona says

'Yeah now the stress of marriage falls onto you guys' Aria says

'Wonderful' Amanda says, sarcastically, they laugh

After their food gets there

'Did you guys ever thought that we got married too young because we're still in college?' Ava asks

'Um you guys probably would have waited until college like we did but I get that you guys don't want to wait becaus you guys don't know what the next holds especially in our lives' Aria says

'Yeah, I agree with what you said, I thought that us getting married at our age was young but seeing you guys getting at twenty one or twenty two or twenty three or whatever age you guys are hell I can't keep up with your guys ages anymore' Mona says, they laugh

'But when I look at your guys marriages now and I can see that you guys are going to make it, with Ava's and Claire's marriage Claire brings Ava's anxiety down and Ava brings out Claire's shy funny side that we knew was there and with Savannah's and Amanda's marriage Amanda brings Savannah down when she needs to be thank the lord for that and Savannah brings out Amanda's sarcastic side which I love by the way, you guys balanced each other out' Mona says

'And when I look at your guys marriage is a lot of love and there's still a lot of love left in there and Aria brings out Mona's loving side which we all knew was there and Mona brings out Aria's tough side when she needs to be tough, you guy balanced each other out too' Savannah says, Mona wipes a tear away

'Dont get old guys you get even more emotional then you already are' Mona says, they laugh

'Especially with our lives' Claire says

'Exactly' Mona says

After dinner they are standing outside the restaurant hugging and kissing goodbye

'Call us when you guys get home' Claire says

'Yes mom' Mona says, they laugh

'Usually we say that to you guys' Aria says

'Yeah well at your guys age we have to make sure that you guys are safe' Amanda says, Mona points her finger at her

'Hey, just because I called myself old doesn't mean that you can too' Mona says

'Ok calm down Savannah 2.0' Ava says

'Hey!' Savannah says

They continue to say goodbye Mona and Aria leaves first then they do
