ch. 18: Claire's shadow

Ava had a nightmare and she's sitting at the dinner table because she didn't want to wake up Claire because she has a job interview tomorrow morning and it's 2:30am, then Claire walks out

'Hey, I was wondering where you went to' Claire says, she walks up to her

'Yeah, I had an nightmare, I didn't want to wake you up because you have that job interview later on' Ava says, Claire sits down beside her

'That's fine, job interview or no job interview, I'm still going to be the same Claire like i was in high school whenever you had an nightmare, like i said in our wedding vows for better or worse, so what's up?' Claire asks

'You remember that girl Lindsay that tried to ruin our relationship?' Ava asks

'Yeah, what about her?' Claire asks

'Well I had a dream that me and Amanda were in the theater room and this smoke came in then we realized that the room was on fire we tried to find a way out but the doors were lock, luckily you and Sava found a way in saved us, later on we found that it was Lindsay who started the fire to get back at me and Amanda because we 'stole' You and Sava away from her, then I woke up and came in here and try to collect my thoughts' Ava says

'Hmmm, are you thinking that she might come back and get her revenge on us for her getting kicked out of here because she was bullying not just us but others too' Claire says

'I wouldn't put past her at all, its like having an Andrew 2.0' Ava says, Claire chuckles

'It's not funny babe' Ava says

'I know, that was nervous chuckle because you are right Lindsay is like Andrew unfortunately' Claire says

'I don't want to think about that, or her, or him' Ava says, she puts her hands over her face

then Claire gets up and walks up behind her she puts her arms around Ava and Claire kisses her on the head

'We don't have to, Mi amor' Claire says

'When we go back to our bedroom can you hold me until I fall asleep?' Ava asks, she looks up at Claire, Claire smiles

'Of course Mi amor, come on' Claire says

She grabs Ava's hand she gets up and follows Claire into their bedroom and they both lays down, Claire holds Ava until she falls asleep which doesn't take long because Ava listened to Claire's heartbeat so that made her fall asleep faster

Later that morning Claire left to do her job interview, Ava, Amanda, and Caitlin are there just catching up, Ava told them about the nightmare that she had

'I hope that doesn't happen for real' Caitlin says

'Me too, i had a dream last night about me getting pregnant around this time next year' Amanda says

'Have you told Sava about it?' Ava asks

'No, she has other things to worry about right now' Amanda says

'What's going on now?' Caitlin asks

'Lately after she goes to the gym after her workout she's been noticing that she's been having trouble catching her breath, so she's at the doctors figuring out what's going on' Amanda says

'It could be asthma' Ava says

'That's what we think too' Amanda says

'Doesn't Claire have asthma too?' Caitlin asks

'Yeah and Mona too so it could run in the family' Ava says, then Claire walks in and they look at her

'Hey' Amanda and Caitlin says
