ch. 36: Amanda has a hernia

They run Amanda into the OR because she has a hernia David and Kelly took the first flight out when Savannah called them, Savannah is the only one there because it only takes 30 to 45 minutes to do the surgery and normally you can go home the same day so Amanda gets out of surgery since Savannah is the only one there for Amanda they let her visit her Savannah walks in her room and Amanda starts to wake up

'Hey' Savannah whispers

'You can talk louder then that I'm not deaf' Amanda says

'That's what she said' Savannah says

'If I had the strength to hit you I would' Amanda says, Savannah chuckles

'I know you would' Savannah says, she kisses her on the head, she sits down beside her on the bed facing her

'How long is my recovery?' Amanda asks

'Three weeks, around that time you return to light activities and Strenuous activities well take six weeks, so nine weeks all together, so the beginning of June is three weeks, six weeks is the end of june or separately in the middle of July' Savannah says

'Well there goes my summer' Amanda says

'You'll be fine' Savannah says

'The end of June and you'll stay have the rest of your summer to trampwall' the doctor says, he walks up to them

'In the meantime just take easy until then, once you feel like you're ready to start trampwall again then you can start off slow start jumping on a trampoline then if you feel comfortable start trampwall again' the doctor

'It wouldn't hurt to watch would it?' Amanda asks, the doctor and Savannah chuckles

'Yes you can, in a few hours we'll come back check on see if you can go home, your hernia was just a small one the reason why it was much pain is because of the pressure and also why you was having a hard time breathing too' the doctor says

'Well the recovery stay the same?' Amanda asks

'Um around three weeks starts jumping on the trampoline then go from there' the doctor says

'Ok thank you doctor' Amanda says

'You're welcome, now get rest Savannah you can stay until Amanda leaves since it's going to be a long time until her parents gets here in Florida' the doctor says

'Ok thank you' Savannah says, he smiles at both of them and leaves

'Do you have my phone, I wanna text my mom she probably won't respond because they're on the plane' Amanda says

'Yeah, here you go, I'll let the others know what's going on' Savannah says, so they does that

'I'm sorry that I scared you like that' Amanda says

'Don't be sorry there was nothing that you could do about it' Savannah says, she holds her hand, Amanda looks at her and smiles

'Thank you for staying in here during surgery and after, I love you' Amanda says, Savannah smiles

'You're welcome, you was there for me when I needed you the most during my OD, I love you too' Savannah says, Amanda smiles and kisses her

'Gross, girls and girls shouldn't be kissing' a guy says, Savannah puts her head down and then looks at him

'You're lucky you're somewhere they Can you give CPR' Savannah says, Amanda chuckles, the guy leaves and Savannah starts growling that's her killing growl

'Hey, hey, look at me' Amanda says, she turns her head to face her and Savannah smiles at her and Amanda kisses her

'Remember what you said about me being your weakness?' Savannah asks

'Yeah, it's true though' Amanda says, Savannah chuckles nervously

'I know that but you're my weakness too' Savannah says, in a serious voice, Amanda knows that she's serious she smiles and kisses her

Later that night Amanda is released from the hospital and she can go home once Amanda gets home she changes into her night clothes and lays down on the bed

'You ok if the others see you?' Savannah asks

'Um yeah, I'm not too tired' Amanda says

'That's what she said' Savannah jokes, Amanda chuckles, Savannah tells the others to come up or to come over, so they walks in

'Hey' Amanda says, she sits up and hugs them all

'How you feeling?' Brittany asks

'Um in a little bit of pain but better then earlier, at first I thought it was appendix but it was a hernia instead' Amanda says

'No trampwall for awhile huh?' Hailey asks

'Well the doctor said mine was a small one and around three weeks start jumping on the trampoline then go from there' Amanda says

'But why did it cause you so much pain to the point of you having problems with breathing?' Claire asks

'All of the pressure from her hernia and as time went on that pressure well go to your lungs to make you have a hard time breathing' Brittany says

'You're learning everyday aren't' Savannah teases, Brittany winks at her and smirks, everybody is in shock even Savannah

'Wow that's a first' Caitlin says

'I know I'm in shock too' Savannah says

'Well she is my side chick so' Brittany says

'Oh yeah' Savannah says

'Well when we was kissing some guy said 'Gross, girls and girls shouldn't be kissing', and this one looks at him and said 'You're lucky you're somewhere that can give you CPR', so he leaves and she starts doing her growling kill to him' Amanda says

'Oh the one homophobic person, oh how I miss those days kicking their ass's' Addison says

'Same here' Savannah says

'You behave until I get I better' Amanda says

'We all do at some point' Claire says, Amanda yawns

'I think that's our cue to leave guys her drugs are kicking in' Brittany says

they laugh and everybody hugs her and leaves, Amanda lays down in Savannah's arms and immediately falls asleep in her arms Savannah kisses her on the head and goes to sleep too
