ch.19: heart transplant

It's around 7:30am in the morning Savannah is still sleeping on her stomach until she hears somebody crying beside her she turns over to her other side and sees Amanda wiping tears away and puts her phone on the nightstand Savannah sits up on her elbow

'Hey, is everything ok?' Savannah asks

'Um yeah it is actually these are happy tears' Amanda says, Savannah sits fully

'Ok then what is it?' Savannah asks, Amanda sits down on the bed and faces her

'My dad is getting a heart transplant' Amanda says, she smiles, Savannah smiles too

'That's amazing babe' Savannah says, she kisses her and hugs her

'I know, will you know more then anybody that he's been sick for a long time' Amanda says

'Right, he deserves a new heart and walk his only daughter down the aisle in four months' Savannah says, Amanda smiles and kisses her

'That's what my mom said' Amanda says

'When does he get the surgery?' Savannah asks

'After our wedding, i just hate that winter is coming up because its hard on him' Amanda says

'I know, he has to stay in doors pretty much all winter long' Savannah says

'I know, well since I'm wide awake I'm going to get ready' Amanda says

'Ok' Savannah says

Amanda kisses her and gets up Amanda goes to the bathroom and Savannah looks at the bathroom door she hates to see Amanda down especially when its good news because there's a chance that something could go wrong before surgery, in the middle of surgery, or after surgery

Later that day Savannah is sitting on the couch, Claire and Ava are standing in front of her, Amanda is sitting on the balcony in her thoughts

'Is Amanda ok' Ava asks, Savannah looks at Amanda sitting on the couch outside then back at them

'She just found out this morning that her dad is getting a heart transplant' Savannah says

'Really, that's amazing!' Ava says, in excitement

'Why am I the only excited about this?' Ava asks

'I am too but with Amanda worries about what's going to happen before surgery, in the middle of surgery, or after surgery' Savannah says

'Can I talk to her?' Claire asks

'Sure, go for it' Savannah says, Claire goes outside

'I guess i can keep you company for a little bit and I know where your mind goes and I don't mean it like that either' Ava says, Savannah chuckles

'I didn't think about that until now' Savannah says, Ava picks up a pillow and throws it at her

'Oh shut up' Ava says, she sits down beside her

Amanda and Claire watches Ava throws a pillow at Savannah, Amanda chuckles

'I love their friendship' Amanda says, Claire turns to look at her

Claire is sitting on the couch in front of the door and Amanda is sitting across from her on the other couch

'I know me too, you're not the only one who's not afraid to put Sava in her place, when she needs it' Claire says, Amanda smiles

'Good I have more back up' Amanda says, Claire looks at her confused

'Your guts mom Mona' Amanda says, Claire chuckles
