"So, you and Trey huh?"
I frowned and turned around to see none other than the same chick that August had introduced back at that party as his girlfriend...who knows why she is here, she doesn't have any business being on set but I'll shut my mouth before I get real nasty. I'm here in New Orleans doing makeup for H.E.R. and her dancers - she got in contact with me through Sevyn yesterday morning and I was here bright and early this morning after spending a wonderful night with my man.
The world knows now that we are officially a couple. I said yes to being his girlfriend that day in the ice-cream shop and I haven't regretted my decision one bit. Trey cares for me and he adds onto who I am as a person and he accepts all that I am. The most important thing to me is that he accepted my son with open arms and understands that Loyal will come first to me.
"I could say the same about you and your man so don't come up here trying to talk to me sideways. I'm not the one barbie."
She scoffed. "Honestly, I don't even see what anyone would ever see in you. You're not all that."
"Honey let's get one thing straight." I said and stepped so close to her that I was right up in her face. "I may not be perfect but at least I'm not fake."
"Bitch-"
She raised her fist to hit me but someone was quick to grab her wrist from behind. I stepped back (because I really was not about to fight a miserable barbie doll at my place of work) and created a decent amount of space between us. When I looked up to see who had grabbed the girl's wrist, I was surprised to see August's security guard Terrence. He nodded to someone else who took the untrained dog away before he turned to me.
"You good? I'm sorry about her. She's a piece of work."
"I'm all good, nothing that she can do will effect me. Tell August to put her on a leash though."
He chuckled. "I might do just that when I see him again."
"Oh, you're not here with him?" I asked, now confused as hell. "Isn't it your job to always be with him?"
"Yes it is and no I'm not with him. He's in Atlanta now. He sent me here to be with his nieces and sister while they meet H.E.R., actually here they come now."
I turned around to see a security guard leading four people to Terrence and I. There were three young girls and a woman who looked incredible, especially with her fire red hair. The oldest of the three girls stopped when her eyes landed on me. She froze for a second before screaming her head off happily and running towards me with her arms outstretched.
"Chaylin!" The woman semi-yelled but the girl didn't stop.
Luckily I was already prepared. Steadying myself on the ground, I gladly embraced the young girl as soon as she was in my arms. She clung to me tightly as the others approached.
