Chapter Ten

The sound of a siren echoing through the dorm woke me up in a panic. I sat bolt upright, scanning my unfamiliar surroundings until I remembered where I was. I looked at my watch and it glared back with the time, 5:50am. I didn't get much sleep last night, Jungkook and I only got to sleep at about 2am. The door to the room slammed open, and there stood a man in uniform, someone I didn't recognise.

"Breakfast is in 10 minutes scumbags! You better get your asses moving!" his voice boomed from the doorway. I stood up quickly and opened my trunk to get my uniform, a fresh pair of socks, a sports bra as well as my toothbrush and toothpaste. I grabbed my boots before running out of the room towards the female toilets. I knew I wouldn't be able to change in the room so I would have to change in the toilets instead. I pushed open the bathroom door and stepped into a toilet stall and locked the door behind me. I closed the toilet lid and placed my clothes on top of it. I pulled off my sweats and slipped on my cargo pants as well as my socks. I took off my baggy shirt and my black lace bra. I put my sports bra on, adjusting it so it was comfortable and holding everything where it needed to be. I quickly pulled the black tank top over my head and sat on the toilet lid to put on my boots. 

My feet had blisters from mine and Jungkook's run the day before. I pulled my boot laces tight and tied a double knot. I picked up my clothes, opened the stall door and made my way over to the basin. I quickly brushed my teeth and rinsed my face. I undid the bun on top of my head and ran my fingers through the loose curls that had formed overnight. Once satisfied, I tied my hair into a tight ponytail and pat down any strays to keep them out of my face. I gave myself a quick once over in the mirror before I gathered my things off of the basin.

I pulled the door open and ran out of the bathroom towards our room. I opened to the door to be met with the sight of half dressed men, some only in their underwear. I quickly looked at the floor and walked to my trunk. I threw my clothes in and placed my toothbrush into my toiletry bag.

"Shit Liz, you got dressed fast," Jungkook said. I turned my head to see him sitting on the side of his bed, still wearing the clothes he slept in.

"Can't be late on the first day of training!" I sent him a wink before making my way out the room, I wanted to make sure I was the first person in the dining hall. I jogged down the hallway and then down the stairs, running into someone when I reached the bottom, causing us both to topple over and land on the floor. I fell on top of the person, only to realise it was Jackson. I stood up frantically and readjusted my uniform.

"I'm so sorry sir, I wasn't looking where I was going!" I blurted out as I offered him my hand to help him stand up. He laughed and took my hand, making his way to his feet.

"That's all right Miss Jung, I see you're very eager to get your day started," he said as he dusted off his shirt, "Are you heading to have breakfast?" I nodded in response, giving him a small bow. "Then allow me to join you, shall we?" he asked, gesturing towards the dining hall

"Of course sir," I said with a shy smile. We walked into the dining room and the smell of bacon filled the room. Jackson and I were the first ones there, which is exactly what I wanted. I made my way over to the serving station to see eggs, bacon, baked beans and rice in the food warmers. This was one of my favorite breakfasts, simple and easy. I grabbed a tray and thanked the kitchen staff for the meal as they served me food. I made my way over to the table in the corner where Jungkook and I had sat the day before. I plopped into a seat and immediately started eating my food. Jackson sat across from me and started eating as well.

After a few minutes, Jungkook sat down next to me, placing his tray on the table.

"Morning, sunshine," he whispered into my ear. The feeling of his breath against my ear sent shivers down my spine. I cleared my throat before saying,
