Jungkook and I lay beside one another, both naked and covered in a thin layer of sweat, causing our bodies to sheen in the dim light that illuminated the room from the single bulb on the ceiling. The room wreaked of sex and our bodies stuck together as I lay my head on his chest.

"We are going to have to wash these sheets," I said as I turned to face Jungkook, feeling that the covers were damp against my bare skin. His curls were clinging to his sweaty forehead as he looked back and chuckled softly beneath me, causing the muscles on his abdomen to tense. I stroked them with my fingertips as I admired the way they moved.

"Poor Jackson," he laughed, "The poor guy wanted you, and now his bed smells of you having sex with someone else, thats rough..."

"And I don't want him to ever find out, okay?" I said, glaring at Jungkook playfully to make sure he knew to keep his mouth shut. I knew how men could be, they love to brag.

"Do I look like the type to kiss and tell? Come one Liz, I would never do that to you, or to him," Jungkook admitted openly.

"So, shower?" I smiled as I sat up on my elbow to look at him properly.

"Definitely."

Jungkook and I returned to lying on the bed, having showered and changed. It was colder tonight than it had been the last couple of nights, so I had put on my sweats with Jungkook's shirt. He was laying beside me shirtless with his grey sweatpants hugging his thighs perfectly.

"I'm scared Kook," I whispered as I shifted to lay more comfortably on his chest, my mind wandering to what the next day was to hold for us.

"If I'm being honest, I am too," he admitted, "I haven't exactly been a model soldier since I've been here. I have a cracked rib, I've been covered in bruises and I missed almost a whole day of training."

I pouted and rested my chin on his chest to gaze up at him fully.

"Don't think like that, that should give them even more reason to pick you," I said gently as I placed my hand under my chin, "You stuck with it even after everything that happened. You fought through the pain like a champion and most importantly, you stayed."

"Yeah, I guess, I just have a bad feeling. You know?"

"I definitely know what you mean. I feel nauseous because I'm so nervous," I chuckled nervously.

"Come here," Jungkook whispered and he put his arm around my shoulder and nuzzled closer to me, "We've got this..."
"Yeah we do, we are amazing," I giggled, trying to convince myself that I had a chance of staying here. I felt Jungkook shake gently against me as he chuckled as well.

We crawled under the covers and got comfortable before we both drifted off to sleep in a matter of minutes.

Alright everyone, when I call your name, please step forward and collect your letter," Jackson announced from the staircase with a pile of papers in his hand. I stood anxiously beside Jungkook as Jackson started calling the names. I tapped my foot in anticipation, biting my nails.

Jungkook's name got called and he sighed with relief as he stepped forward. He returned to my side and gave me a reassuring smile. The pile in Jackson's hand was getting smaller and smaller, and I was losing hope after every letter he handed out. After the last letter left his hand, I felt my stomach sink and I thought my heart had stopped.

My mouth was dry and I immediately felt light headed. There was no letter for me, I had to go upstairs, get my bag, call Hoseok and go home.

"Liz, hey, look at me," Jungkook whispered as he grabbed both of my shoulders and forced me to look at him. My eyes were glassing over and I felt a wave of tears threatening, "It's going to be okay, I'm sure there is a mistake, let me go and talk to Jackson, sit here," Jungkook said as he led me over to a bench on the side of the corridor.
