I went through my nightly routine as I had done every night since arriving at the camp, but tonight seemed to be different. I stepped out of my private bathroom and wondered what I should do, but as soon as I reached my bed, I had a weird feeling in my stomach. I couldn't help but feel as though someone had been in my room. I glanced around quickly and saw that nothing was out of place. The door was closed, and so was the window. All of the furniture and the bedding were in their correct place. I shook the thought from my head, and dismissed it as paranoia.

It felt weird not having Jungkook with me, maybe that's why I had felt the way I had. His companionship had become a norm in my life, so it felt strange not having him by my side. For the last week, when I walked out of my bathroom, he had always been there. I decided his absence was where my paranoia had stemmed from. I strolled over to my bed and picked up my book, the same one I had been trying to read for over a week, so I could sit and read with Jungkook in his room to sway my encroaching loneliness and irrational paranoia.

I strolled over to my window and cracked it open slightly to let out the moisture that filled the room from my shower; I didn't want everything to smell damp and musty when I got back.

As I opened the door to leave, Mark stood stunned, in front of me as if he was about to knock on the door I had just opened.

"Good evening, Miss Jung," he greeted with a small bow that I returned, "Lieutenant Kim sent me to inform you that you will have to go to room 1 every morning to receive your briefing for the day, seeing as the other sniper is there as well. So once you are awake and dressed, go straight there."

"I will do so, thank you, sir." I bowed again and sent a small smile his way. Mark merely nodded and walked away, heading into his own room.

I walked down the corridor wearing my sweats and a long-sleeved oversized shirt. I only had socks on my feet to protect myself from the cold tiles of the dorm. I passed someone that I didn't recognise, he was wearing a security uniform. He must be a roaming security guard. He was the first one I had seen in the camp so I couldn't help but wonder if Namjoon had organised it for my sake, but I shook the thought out of my head as I walked into the room Jungkook was staying in, only to see he wasn't there.

JB was lying on his bed reading a book wearing nothing but a pair of loosely fitting black shorts, him being the only one in the room.

"Aren't you freezing?" I blurted out when I took in JB's state of dress. It had to be ten degrees outside, and he was lying there in nothing but shorts.

"What can I say? I'm super hot," he chuckled in response, his attention not leaving the pages in his hands.

I could only shake my head and laugh at his response. "Where is Jungkook?" I asked.

He looked up from his book this time and replied,

"He is still in the shower I think."

"Not surprising, he always takes forever," I sighed as I slumped onto Jungkook's vacant bed.

"Yeah, you would know, dirty bird," JB chuckled. I shot my head in his direction, only to see him desperately trying to hold in his laughter.

"What did he tell you?" I asked, my tone threatening.

"Oh not much," JB started as he rolled over to face me, resting his open book on his thighs, "Just that you two did the nasty..."
"I'm going to kill him!" I yelled exasperated, "Who else did he tell?"

"No one, just me, I swear!"

"What is it with men? Is it an ego thing?" I asked rhetorically, causing JB to chortle and turn the page of his book. While I scolded JB from afar, Jungkook sauntered into the room wearing nothing but a towel around his waist.
