"Jungkook! Stop laughing! You'll get us in trouble!" I whisper-shouted at Jungkook, whose laugh was echoing off the walls of the corridors in the dorm. We had been gone for almost 2 hours so it was already 10pm. There was no one in the corridors, except for us. We were giggling at one another as we walked into the locker room to get some towels to dry off. We looked like two drowned rats, our hair was a mess and our clothes clung to every inch of our bodies.
As we approached the shelf with the towels, I pulled my hair out of its tight pony and shook my hair loose, flicking water everywhere.
"Do you mind? I'm getting rained on all over again," Jungkook said as he playfully wiped his face with his hand in an over exaggerated manner. I shook my hair again, closer to his face this time, causing us both to burst out laughing. "Alright you asked for it!" Jungkook grabbed my arms and held me tight as he started flicking his hair in my face.
"Ah! Kook! Stop it!" I said breathlessly between bursts of laughter. Once we had both stopped laughing, we started drying ourselves off with towels. I placed the towel over my head and started massaging my hair dry. Once the water had stopped dripping off the ends of my hair, I started drying my arms and chest. Jungkook had taken off his shirt so he could ring it out; I watched him as he sauntered over to the shower closest to us.
I looked down at my shirt and contemplated doing the same, I was wearing a sports bra today so I was covered up well enough as to not feel self conscious. I untucked my shirt from my cargo pants and pulled it over my head. I walked over to the shower where Jungkook was standing and stopped next to him to start ringing it out. Jungkook looked at me and took in a sharp inhalation of breath. I tried to keep a straight face as I noticed that he was eyeing me up and down in my peripheral vision.
"It's rude to stare, sunshine," I said, desperately trying not to laugh.
"Well if you don't want me to stare, put your shirt back on!" he said, his eyes not leaving my exposed torso, "Shit Liz, your body is incredible! Your abs are nicer than mine!" I turned to face him and looked at his toned abdomen, and then at mine.
"Yeah you're right," I sent him a wink as I walked back to where I had left my towel on the bench. I dried off my torso and tried my best to pat dry my pants. I sat down on the bench to take off my boots and my soggy socks. I put the towel on the floor and wrapped my feet in it. I could barely feel my toes, and walking around in wet clothes was definitely not helping.
"Liz," Jungkook was almost whispering. I looked up to see him standing in front of me, watching my every move.
"Kook?" His sudden change in demeanour worried me, "Are you okay?"
"Should we finish what we started yesterday?" His question took my breath away. My mouth fell open, but no words came out. I had no idea what to say.
"Wh-what?" I asked hesitantly.
"Can we finish what we started last night? It's all I've been able to think about all day. Please." He pleaded. His tone of voice made it evident that he was using every fibre of his being to hold himself back.
"Kook, we can't do this. Last night we both got caught up in the heat of things, and it wasn't right. If we do this it will complicate everything. I don't want to ruin what we have," I said softly, not wanting to hurt him, "You're the only person I have here, and I really don't want to lose you and the relationship we've built..." I trailed off as I started to play with my fingers in my lap.
"It won't..." he responded.
"Jungkook, I don't know. I hardly know you! Its only been two days... " I mumbled, "And, I just came here to train..."
