Side Note: Don't worry, it's still as Shidge book. I just kinda have to get the real Shiro back for Shidge to happen. Sorry for the long and bumpy ride so far over the story..

Within minutes of Keith dodging all of Acxa attacks, the Altean craft left from the Galra cruiser once more. Pidge scanning it as Keith focused on flying the lion and nodding over "Shiro" readings coming back from the scan.

Moving to escape another of Acxa the black lion soon chased after the craft. Acxa following closely behind, waiting for the perfect change to shoot down the black lion and bring it back to Honerva who'll be pleased of having part of Voltron.

After all, Voltron needed all five lions and would be useless against her future plans if they became a lion down.

"Shiro, come in. I know you're there! I don't know what's wrong, but I know we can fix this. Please, just let us help you. Let me do what you did for me all those years ago, just keep fighting against her magic Shiro" Keith spoke desperately over the com link, seeing Kuro face on the screen as Pidge glanced over the clone body language, a frown on her lips.

She's heard Keith thoughts over the clone, how it might be Shiro real body. How Shiro soul might be trapped deep within it and if they just found a way to reach out then maybe they could save him enough to bring him back. They just had to make him fight against Honerva magic, give him a reason to return to them.

Pidge didn't hide her unease over Keith idea but she was willing to give it a chance. Kuro held Shiro paladin memories meaning Honerva had to have the real Shiro somewhere hidden away or that Kuro was living in Shiro real body and was just taking over his body before Honerva took over Kuro.

If they could break the spell over the body, reach out to the real Shiro and pull him back to them then she was willing to let Keith take lead over this emotional battle.

She just hoped that Keith was right, that Kuro was just a planted personality that Honerva had placed in Shiro real body. That Shiro was just trapped deep within his own heart, trapped to watch himself become a monster.

If they could save him, Pidge was ready to destroy Kuro completely.

"I know you're hurting. We just need to keep it together a little longer. We'll be okay, Shiro. We'll be okay, I just need you to fight against this magic with me .. we need you to stay strong" Keith carried on speaking, his voice soft and honest as his eyes held a bit of hope.

"You once told me that all you ever did was reach for the stars, dreaming to one day fly among them. How you always felt like you belong to them and in truth you do. You always wanted to be a pilot and that dream became truth, you may have hit some bumps but you didn't let them stop you from becoming who you wanted to be. Don't stop that now, don't let anyone stop you from the man you want to be, not now, not EVER. I know you, not as much as the paladins but I saw that man who wished to become and he wouldn't let himself be taken down like this. So please, Takashi, fight to be free from those chains once more" Pidge spoke up, her voice warm and pleading as she held a soft look in her eyes. Looking straight to the link as Keith glanced to her surprised before focusing back on flying the lion as he hoped that having both him and Pidge trying to reach out would work.
