"All packed" Matt asked with a friendly smile as he waited outside the princess room, turning to her as she walked out from her room.

"Y-Yeah, how long have you been creeping outside my room" Pidge replied a little unsure over how she should feel about him waiting for her without a word.

"Not long, If I'm honest I got lost and had to follow Rover to your room. We just arrived as your door opened but that sounds rather lame, so I thought I'll try playing it cool" Matt explained with an embarrassed smile as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"You're one strange human" Pidge shot back with a slight smirk as she shook her head playfully making Matt look to her surprised. 

"You said human not earthling .. Don't tell me you've always known how to say it" Matt replied surprised, his arms falling back to his sides as he stared at her.

"At first I couldn't but I practiced when Taka-Champion was still my father prized prisoner. I just like to mess with him by saying earthlings or earthly, it's always fun to watch him slip into despair over my saying it wrong" Pidge answered with a smug grin making Matt chuckled.

"You my dear, are one sneaky lady and I love it. I'm defiantly adopting you as my baby sis from now on" Matt grinned goofily as ruffled her hair without thinking not seeing the surprise on the princess face.

"A-Adopting me" Pidge asked in slight shock, still staring at Matt who nodded happily.

"Well, as much fun as it would to be you're best friend I don't think we clash together that well. So, I'll just have to be you're big brother instead within the team. Lotor may be you're family but I'll be your second one with the rest of the paladins. What do you say, wanna sibling up with me" Matt smiled brightly, offering his hand out to her.

"You won't fear me for being the Galran princess or worried over Lotor reaction, he is my brother don't forget. I don't want to risk anything between Voltron and my brother by accepting" Pidge replied unsure, concern in his eyes making Matt just smile at her.

"Lotor will always be your big brother but I'm gonna be your better brother for sure. No need to keep titles or look over your shoulder after spending time with me. Let's just be ourselves and enjoy making new memories. You get as many hair ruffles as you from me" Matt explained with a big brother like smile as he met with her eyes and noticed slight warmth in them.

"DEAL" Pidge excitedly grinned as soon as he mentioned the hair ruffles making the older male laugh, letting her shake his hand like an excited child at Christmas almost giving his arm whiplash. 

"Well, we better head back to the castle. We'll be departing now you've gathered you're belongs and Lotor grabbed some things. He not truly King yet meaning he can't just make the ship his own just yet. Do you need any help to carry your bags- or bag?" Matt smiled, willing to help carry anything she was taking before he noticed a single bag on her back.

"I used one of my gadgets to shrink everything, everything will fit in this one bag now and I just have to use my other gadget to bring them back to size. It's just something I made as a child since I struggled carrying all my heavy amour and helping undock some things. Haggar gave me a right old speech over using tech to help with my duties and I wasn't allowed to use them again but I kept them safe in my room for whenever I need to pack. I can show you later, it's really cool" Pidge replied, her eyes sparkling as she talked over her gadgets a little while the two started talking, Rover hovering behind them and following them without issues.
