Inside the Garrison Practical Barrier...

Matt was the first out of the jeep, flying towards his mum without a second thought and clinging to her like he was a baby making the rest chuckle at the sight. Bae Bae, Holt youngest sibling and best dog on earth was soon licking at his cheek as Colleen stayed crushed on the ground hugging her son.

Soon Lance was rushing over to his family as his niece and nephew called out excitedly. Tears leaving his eyes as he just clung to them all, a family hug never feeling as good as it did now.

Shiro was helping the three Alteans out of the second jeep, leaving Keith to stand close to the Holts with Cosmo by his side. The space wolf clearly wanted to join Matt in his affection and sniff out Bae Bae who was a strange unknown animal to him right now .. space didn't really have the form of dogs as Earth did, all paladins found that one out the hard way. But as much as Keith would love for his space wolf to be fussed by Matt and his mother, while learning over Bae Bae, the leader of voltron decided to let Matt have this long awaited moment to himself.

He did turn as Sam promised Hunk that they'd get his family back when Hunk nervously looked around for his own parents, his sister and his nephew and niece. Keith just lowering his head, feeling a bit of hurt for the yellow paladin. They had came so far, done so much for the universe, couldn't it give them this small break and at least let the rest have their families safe.

Family..

His mom was still out of space and he couldn't risk sending a message out to her anymore. He was in the dark over her, sure he had Shiro and Matt and the rest .. in a way. But he found his own mom and right now, he couldn't have his own welcome back awkward hug with her.

Awaiting family, Keith glanced around for Adam knowing that it was going to be a hellish greeting once the two divorced men met again and Shiro would have to let Pidge meet Adam. Even if Adam and Shiro did devoice, the two were great friends before falling in love and getting married. Their friendship would still be strong, even after all this time and Adam would clearly be happy to see Shiro get his own better happy ending.

Pidge..

Where was she?

She was just right behind them, he'd know she mumbled out a plan to Allura behind them inside the city.

Did she get shot by the two Garrison members driving the jeep...

Was she with them, hiding behind the jeep awkwardly as everyone had their happy moment.

"Shiro" Keith called out, a little panicked making the grown man turn away from his talk with Iverson.

"Keith?" Matt spoke up, a raised eyebrow as he was sitting on his knees, helping his mum to sit up now he wasn't crushing her in the hug.

"Where's Pidge?" Keith asked, keeping his eyes to Shiro who froze up.

"Katie was with you two, wasn't she? She jumped in your jeep .. right?" Shiro worriedly asked, panic and fear filling his eyes as he started scanning around the two jeeps that had brought them here. Looking for her armour that would make her stick out like a sour thumb.
