Shiro was soon placed into the pod, left in a coma like state as his body and soul healed. Allura magic had done all it could and now they just had to leave the rest to Shiro. They all agreed to leave the pod in the black lion cargo room, knowing it was best to keep their ex leader close to Keith would and already was spending all his free time beside Shiro pod. Krolia stayed close with her son, as did Cosmo while Pidge avoid the black lion and didn't even try visiting Shiro after she helped Coran set up the pod by joining the charging cable into the black lion itself, as long as the black lion had life, the pod would be charged up and working. 

The paladins visited at any chance they got, un-leaving of the black lion cargo room as much as Keith did. They all just stood there with sour looks as they watched Shiro motionless body lay within the body. Screens within the pod practical lid was stayed open, showing Shiro life signs and vital signs. 

They moved the lions to a better, nicer and much safer planet nor far from the moon they had landed on when returning Shiro to a body. The planet had life form signs but nothing too dangerous by the low threat level the lions scanner gave. It was a good spot for them all to rest and wait in worry over Shiro condition. 

"Will he be okay? Humans aren't really meant to have their souls sucked out of their bodies and shoved into another. It's something that only happens in movies or cheesy tv shows" Hunk spoke up, clear concern written over his face as he looked to their first leader, wondering if Shiro really would be fine. 

"In truth, only time will tell if his body accepts Shiro's consciousness. It's not something I've ever done before or heard much about, this was a taken risk and now we must leave it to Shiro to decide his future, may it be in death or by his consciousness being accepted into the body" Allura answered calmly, a worried frown on her face as she held her hadns together in front of her while looking to the screens over Shiro condition.

"But we must be able to do something to help him? He's always helping us, we must be able to do something for him during his need of time" Lance spoke up desperate, wanting to help Shiro as much as anyone else in the room did. 

"Lance, we all feel the same way you do but we must leave this into Shiro hands. For now, let's just keep faith in him over taking back a body and wait for him to wake up. Dose anyone else having any news needing to be told?" Keith spoke, his voice low and careful as he tried keeping his raging emotions in check and not take out anything on his team. 

"I've tried contacting the voltron coalition, but I can't get through to anyone. It doesn't make sense. There could be some distortion I'm not picking up on. Maybe we need to get into the upper atmosphere for a better signal? I asked Pidge to check the coms and links for us and they seem to be in top state still, thankfully our battle in the quintessence filed hasn't messy with any our lions or tech. She's also-" Matt rambled out as he looked to something on his halo screen, tapping a couple of buttons and passing on the work he and Pidge has been doing while they wait for Shiro to heal. A frown filling his lips as he came to a stop in his rambles, thinking over the Galran princess and her own fragile state and not sure how to help her, he knew she was acting strong but it was just an act after all. She was going to break down, she needed to break down soon.

"Pidge sent me the file over her findings with the lions. We won't be going anywhere even if we got a message out or contacted the coalition. Not without recharging the lions power cores" Hunk replied with a small smile, placing a comforting hand on Matt shoulder since he was worried over Pidge state as well but knew it wasn't the best room of people to talk about it. Not when Romelle had turn her hated over Lotor towards Pidge, Krolia was still uneasy over trusting the princess and most were terrified over losing Shiro. Pidge issues might not be seen as important to the rest while Hunk and Matt knew her mental and emotional state was just as important as Shiro health.
