Keith had somehow dragged Pidge into the black lion to see Shiro while his mom and Allura was still out. It had surprised them that the two haven't returned in the time they've been gone but neither questioned it. Pidge string bag left in the black lion mouth for her to pick up on her way out and for now, Keith just sat down on his stool watching Pidge stand on the opposite side.

She looked ... destroyed.

Her eyes were more broken then before and she seemed frightened when placing her hand on the screen, like she feared a single chance at trying to get closer to Shiro would kill him.

This was what Matt was trying to warn them over, the real Pidge not the princess, the one who wouldn't be able to survive if she lost Shiro too. Sure, she had voltron now but that was still iffy grounds and she didn't hold a connection to Voltron as strongly as she did with Shiro.

It would be her end game if she lost him..

"I never could give you an answer when you offered to show me the place you had called home for so many years, I could tell you now if only you just wake up" Pidge whispered in a delicate voice, her eyes focused comply on Shiro pained expression as he slept.

Flashback...

"My first mission? Are you sure?" She had repeated in surprised over him wanting to learn over her first mission as the Galran princess/commander. She knew how he felt over her people and their ways and thought he'd never want to learn over them unless it helped him to survive as a prisoner of course.

"I've told you over my home, my stories and my beloved memories. I want to know over the Katie that I never got to meet" He answered with a small but warm smile on his lips as he laid on Ulaz hospital bed, he had just won in the gladiator colosseum, gaining some injures that Ulaz had left for Pidge to fix up.

"I wasn't of age to fight just yet but being Zarkon daughter, I was expected to be better then anyone else. So, Zarkon had decided to bring me along during his visit on checking out an odd planet far off from the mother ship. I was overly excited of course, even for a nine year old. It was my chance to show my talents and years of training while also spending time with Zarkon as well. It was an important day for me" She started to explain with a soft smile as she worked on cleaning some of the cuts on his left hand, trying to be as careful as she could but knew they disinfected was stinging.

"And was it the best day of your life, a memory that made you the girl you are today?" He simply asked, his eyes a little unfocused after hitting his head rather hard but he still mostly stared at her.

"It was one of the worse days of my life, I met my first Yalmor in person. Of course, I had learned over them and thought they were rather cute and sweet but they were a living Quiznak. I wanted nothing more then to hunt them down and make them existent but Zarkon wouldn't let me. They are not worth any compliments or sweet talks, they're disgusting and awful creatures. I still have a scar on my thigh from my first meeting with one. It was even worse that both Zarkon and Haggar watched me struggle with these Yalmors when I was meant to be proving myself to the emperor. My big day, my big chance all wasted because of those stupid Yalmors but I did catch them in some of my traps gaining some revenge before having to free them again. I won't lie, I despise Yalmors then I hate Sendak" She grumbled out, an irritated pout on her lips and Shiro did his best not to flinch as she added more pressure to the deep cut on the back of his hand while she let out her frustration over the memory.
