"Finished speaking with Shiro" Matt asked with a friendly smile as he came walking towards her.

"Yeah, He's got a bit of a headache still and is resting in his room for now. I think he just needs some time" Pidge answered with a small smile as she rubbed her neck a little, she hated lying to Matt but it was needed for now. 

"I see, makes sense. Shiro always did like to overthink everything after speaking to someone. Wondering if he should have said something else or if how the talk went was the right way or not. It's best to let him think over everything you talked about a little longer" Matt smiled, coming to a stop and ruffling her hair hoping to calm her down a little.

"I guess, anyway shouldn't you be with Hunk and Lance" Pidge asked, tilting her head to the side a little as she looked to Matt who chuckled nervously.

"Well, after you left to speak with Shiro we kinda thought it be best to end our talk for now. I mean, your apart of our team and we can't do anything until tomorrow where we'll find out if we're right or not. We just kinda spit up once you left, Hunk stress baking a little and Lance is in the pool. I thought I'll come check on you" Matt explained as he rubbed his arm a little, he didn't want to upset the princess by her thinking he was checking on her or thinking low over her but he just wanted to be here if she needed someone after her chat with Shiro. 

"I see, do you think you have some free time. I want to ask you over something about Earth" Pidge asked, a little unsure over her own act but she wanted to know something.

"Sure thing, want to chat here or in one of our rooms or the longue .. We can go to the green lion hanger if you want" Matt asked as he looked to her a little surprised she actually wanted to know about earth. 

"The green hanger, I'll just grab something and then meet you there" Pidge replied and Matt nodded before the two walked away. 

Matt reached the green lion hanger first, unlocking the door and leaving it unlocked since he knew Pidge would just hack pass the lock and enter anyway. He walked over to his lion, getting her a good pat as he waited for Pidge.

Glancing over to his desk as a smile filled his lips, after all the visits he's had from Pidge in t he green lion and the two working as a team to solve some stolen data or messages. Coran allowed them to add a second desk beside Matt, they both got their own private desk now even if they were pushed together. Of course it was rather easy to tell who desk belonged to who, one desk was neat and tidy with everything needed and the second desk was just a crazy mess with all of Pidge needed tools or stuff. 

He walked over to his desk, sitting down as he heard footsteps heading towards his hanger and made sure to pull out Pidge stool from her desk for her. He gave a slight wave as she came walking in, something carefully held in her hands as she walked over. 

Once she reached the stool, sitting down and placing the small object on her lap while her hands stayed holding it tight but gently to stop it from sliding of her lap and falling to the floor.

He glanced it over, It seemed to be a small wooden box the size of her palms together, small and thin but clearly held something important inside. An iris purple wood that was clearly alien made, slight orchid purple swirls carved in line vines growing around the wooden box with a silver lock keeping the lid down but just needed to be flicked up for it to open. It was rather pretty and clearly well made, treated with care and given by someone who wanted her to have a rare treasure to herself.
