Lotor, Allura, Coran, Lance, Pidge, Matt and Shiro soon reached the control room, Lotor nodding for one of the soldiers to catch them up on anything that's been happening within the Galra Empire since he became ruler.

"The civil war has continued unimpeded. I'm sad to say more and more Galra forces are leaving to join other factions, my king. Sendak has claimed almost all of the deserters. Last we heard, they call themselves "The Fire of Purification" and it seems he wishes to rule as king himself" The soldier explained as he stood by the screen, passing on the information calmly and keeping his arms folded behind his back as he rested slightly.

"I think it may be time that I address all Galra and make my claim as the new Emperor absolute" Lotor replied back, his voice stern and proud while slight annoyance held in his eyes over Sendak actions. 

"Will that start by freeing all the planets?" Lance asked as he looked towards the new galra king with slight hope. 

"I'm afraid to admit that it's not that easy. My grip upon the empire is tenuous as it already is" Lotor sighed as he turned to look towards Lance, acting defeated by his own words. 

"I must proffer an alternative to the current state at hand before I can do anything good for the universe" Lotor added on as he felt the unease from the other paladins as they stared towards him.

"Brother, It may not be much but freeing the planets close to us will be a start. The main ship will be close by to help protect them if any other Galra tries to take over them again. These planets close by normally held something needed by us when Father ruled. If not at least try to speak with Sendak, see why he won't follow after Zarkon own son. You have proven yourself and even lit the fire at the Kral Zera Ceremony" Pidge spoke up, a slight frown on her lips as she knew not all would agree to follow Lotor when he hasn't truly proven himself to them. He had always be hidden away ruling his own planets and keeping away from Zarkon hands, he's not held any proof he could be trusted or even able to rule the Galra empire and help them carry on surviving another thousand years or more.

"That is why it was so important that Allura and I gained access to the quintessence filed" Lotor replied as he glanced towards his sister, trying to show he was trying to do something to help gain the empire trust. 

"Are we to focus all our energy on that?" Allura asked surprised as she looked to him, Lotor giving a slight nod.

"It is paramount" Lotor answered will fully believing  over his words.

"However, we also cannot let the empire fall apart. These are our people, they only lost and scared right now over the sudden power change. Once they know they can be safe and respected by you then everything will calm and loyalty will be given for sure. We must reach out to them" Pidge spoke up, slightly desperate and pleading towards her brother as she couldn't let her people just fade away, killing each other in a pointless war just because they don't know who to trust.  

"Pidge is right, we must try and calm the Galra empire down before a new war truly breaks out. At least the only one we could handle it but with Galra against Galra, it might be as simple to stop once it's started" Shiro mumbled with slight unease, agreeing with Pidge.

"I know the Galra empire was once our enemy but it's not right to let them fall like this. Your a good race and don't deserve to expire by just killing one another in fear" Matt added on his own thoughts, Coran and Lance nodded to him as he placed a comforting hand on Pidge shoulder in hopes to calm her racing mind.
