"You have been accused over freeing the paladins of voltron, our greatest enemy and yet you stand before me not speaking a word over it" Zarkon yelled, anger and annoyance clear in his voice as he sat on his throne looking towards his daughter.

Pidge stayed silent, she stood in galran prisoner clothes that were a little different since these ones were made for high ranked Galra soldiers, lords or ladies if punished. It was a black all in one that wasn't tight or lose, a dark purple vest over the top and just seemed like under armour instead of a prisoner unifrom. 

All her tech and true armour taken from her once she stepped onto the ship and thrown the higher ranked prisoner clothes before she was locked inside her room. She wondered over what crimes she apparently committed but treason wasn't one of them. 

"Speak" Zarkon demanded.

"And say what, I've been blamed for treason without any proof to clear my case. The paladins, the lions and the castle is gone when I promised to bring them to you. Sendak and Haxus as joined saying I was the one allowing them to escape while we got trapped in an escape ship heading back to you" Pidge snapped back, she had no way of proving her innocent not when she was clearly being teamed up against. 

Even as the princess, she was heading to a death sentence.

"Do you admit to your crimes" Zarkon asked, lifting an eyebrow.

"Of course not, I never freed them and was attacked myself. Time I woke up I was already in the ship with Sendak flying it back towards your ship. I had no clue how we ended up in the escape ship or how the paladins got away with the lions. But I can promise you that I did not betray you" Pidge replied back, her eyes honest and determined.

"Sendak says that you were charmed by the champion, he is the reason you risked betraying me. I'm not surprised, you did seem enchanted by him when he was fighting within the gladiator ring. Was he the reason you decided to bring shame to me and your people by becoming a traitor" Zarkon calmly spoke up, looking to his daughter and waiting for any signs of her guilt to show.

"I never betrayed you, that is the one thing I can promise before you. Yes, Its true that the Champion had caught my eye when he was fighting under your name but I did not show he same interest as before, I just never saw someone fight so hard before while never losing hope even after all the time as a prisoner. He held spirit, it made me want to cheer for him but I wouldn't leave the galra empire to just watch him grow. I belong to the empire and no where else" Pidge answered with heart, truth in her eyes and honour leaking in her voice as she met with Zarkon gaze. 

"You didn't free them, did you my princess" Zarkon asked with a slight curve to his lips, he was actually smiling it was small and hidden but she saw it.

"No Zarkon, I didn't. I hold no proof to my innocence but at least accept my word that I didn't. I'll take the death sentence but I couldn't live being a disgrace to you" Pidge answered and Zarkon gave an amused nod.

"Sendak talk me over a link, no one but us know over this. The guards thought you were just being punished over one of your pranks again. I don't accuse you to be guilty over this crime, You are free my princess" Zarkon answered, watching the surprise fill his daughter eyes before she smiled.

"Thank you Zarkon, I won't ever let you down like this again" Pidge promised, she'll make sure the paladins reach her father hands for sure if she ever captured them again. 

"I know my princess, now leave and get changed once more. I'm sending you on a private matter to a gathering on Olkarion. Well it will be you and your brother going, I fear the commander is making another weapon behind my back since he gone radio silent once again. I've sent sentries but they never get a chance to land on the planet, It be much better if the planet has joined to Voltron then to the Commander hands" Zarkon replied, standing up and walking down the steps to his daughter.

"Understood, what shall we do if Olkarion has joined with Voltron" Pidge asked, she loved the planet and she knew how much they needed the planet working under them during the war. It was to important to just destroy.

"Kill them all, leave the planet unharmed but the race .. Kill them until the rest surrender to our empire forever. I won't have traitors in my empire .. understood" Zarkon ordered not seeing the shock fill his daughter face before she shook it away.

"Yes Zarkon" Pidge answered weakly.

"Oh, and dress as the princess not as the commander. Commander Branko still thinks he going to woo you into being his mate one day. Dress as the Princess you are and let him know how good the one thing he can't ever have is. Make him know that his hunger for the empire Princess will only lead him into starving" Zarkon ordered with a slight smirk, Branko had gotten on his last nerve and he won't accept it anymore. Pidge looked to Zarkon before bowing her head slightly before leaving to get ready.

"Be the Princess" Pidge whispered to herself as she walked the halls, knowing she was going to have to make a call to her brother over what dresses to wear and pack for the visit. Of course she'll sneakily pack her amour as well just in case she must fight or follow the orders of her father if the planet had joined Voltron. 

She also made a mental note to walk past Sendak as she left in the morning dressed as the princess she was. She wanted to let him know his plan had failed and that she was still standing in this war. 

She wanted to see his face as he took noticed over her still standing above him while he tried everything he could to overcome her. 

She would also be giving him a warning, a warning that told him she wouldn't be giving up her spot and the next time they stand alone only one would be walking away.
