"Ah! I'm taking heavy fire!" Hunk cried out as the yellow lion took another shot.
"Something is wrong!" Allura yelled out in a desperate and frightened voice as the blue lion barely dodged a shot.
"These aren't normal base defences!" Lance screamed out in frustration as he could only fly away from all the shots raining down behind him.
"I'm pinned down!" Matt groaned down as the green lion took many shots from the Galra cruisers and fighters lined up above, all firing at once.
"Keith, what do we do?" James asked in a panic as the four MFEs jets all took heavy damage as well.
"Do what you have to. We can't let those cannons launch!" Keith yelled back in irritation as he dodged the attacks aimed at him.
"They're everywhere!"
*Grunts*
"Come on!"
*Fearful gasps*
"There's too many!"
*Pained screams*
"What out!"
*Yelps*
"I'm coming!"
*Battle yells*
"We need backup!
*Cries of pain*
"They were ready for us" Shiro breathed out in horror as he listened to his teammates struggles, unable to help them when they needed him most.
"Oh, no! Katie!" Shiro screamed out in fear and panic, looking around the room for his beloved. Desperately searching for her armour and paling as he couldn't see it anywhere before jogging to the door, standing in the doorway and looking down both ways of the hall not finding her.
"Shiro, you can't chase after her. We need you here, Sanda not reporting in and your our best chance in leading us" Sam called back as he rushed over to Shiro.
"I'll look for her, I can do a quick run around the building. Her armour makes her easily spotted in a crowd meaning it be even easier in empty halls. I'll return with her or I'll rush back alone if there's no signs of her" Colleen spoke up, giving a reassuring look to both males before jogging away, Bae Bae hot on her feet.
But bad news only followed as all six Zaiforge cannons started getting ready to blast off into space. Raising out of the bases they were built in and powering up before them all.
"Focus on the Zaiforge cannons" Keith ordered over the coms as he spotted the Zaiforge cannon he's meant to be dealing with getting ready to fly up.
"Stop them from launching!" Keith growled, knowing they were holding Earth fate in their hands right now.
"Base Six is launching!" James screamed out.
