Side Note: Warning, it's a longish chapter compared to the rest. Also, this chapter will based into two parts, this is the first half and the next part will be done in the next chapter..

"Wow, your planet is a dump" Pidge commented in pure disappointment as she  stood beside the pilot chair, leaning her shoulder into it as she stared to the planet before them.

"Yeah, it's looking rather shit but it doesn't normally look this bad" Matt replied with a weak smile, rubbing the back of his neck as he glanced to the princess between him and Keith. 

"Normally less destroyed and Galra filled" Keith added on as he looked over the Galra cruisers filling the air and noticing a base in the far distance.

"It looks as bad as Laika play room, Maybe Beta has let her out for some air again" Pidge muttered back, looking at the planet that her Takashi would call home and frowning over it not being as he told her in stories. 

"Hang on, you know Laika?" Lance whispered yelled out in shock making Pidge just look to him over her shoulder.

"Yeah, she's this big cuties. Loves to be fussed under her chin and always enjoys being spoiled when she get's a new sentry to destroy and chew on" Pidge answered like she was talking about the cuties puppy in the whole world that could do no wrong.

"Do you know Sven too?" Hunk carefully asked and watched Pidge joyful expression full into pure irritation. 

"Yeah, she knows him" Shiro smirked, running his hand through his air. 

"I much rather wished I didn't. But I was the one who ended up capturing him, he was my testing mission. If I completed it then I got to be a commander, a full fledged Galran soldier. Cubs in training always get's to chose what option to take, fight your classmates in the gladiator ring and the last two standing will be given commander rank. Or you can chose to complete a random mission solo, if you pass it in the time limit and on your own, you get your rank. I knew Sendak or Haggar druids would try to make me lose if I fought in the ring and so, mission was the best way to go" Pidge explained without much care and most were thinking how lucky they weren't born as a Galran cub. 

"Did you ask what Slav would be used for?" Allura asked with worry, she was starting to work with Pidge better now and she did learn to trust the fellow Princess. Of course, she couldn't fully forgive her but she could learn to be comrades with her now. 

"At first, I was all excited about the mission and just caught Slav in one of my traps before rushing back to my ship to take him to Beta. But then being trapped in a ship with the guy ... any fun I was having was completely drained away in the first few minutes. In the end I just knocked him out and actually threw him towards Beta before leaving .. I couldn't handle him for a single second longer and was rethinking about fighting in the ring" Pidge mumbled back with an annoying and defeated frown, shivering over the memories with her being trapped with Slav in her old ship. 

"So, in a way, Shiro only got to meet Slav because you caught him. See, it wasn't the universe fault in the end, it was Pidge who you should have blamed" Coran spoke up, twirling the edge of his moustache as Shiro tensed a little, sending a slight glare towards Coran.

"I truly am sorry" Pidge apologized without a second thought as she knew the pain of having to deal with Slav.

"You don't have to be sorry, It's in the past and if you had captured him or not. I would still have to meet with Slav at some point since we needed his help. It was a sealed meeting one way or another" Shiro sighed as he looked to the one he was courting, giving a reassuring smile and seeing her shyly smile back before turning back to look at his home planet.
