Twelve Years Ago...

On Planet Uggel..

(Currently under Princes Lotor rule and known to growing the Ulash wood)

"It's rather beautiful, don't you think brother?" Pidge had asked her brother as she looked to one of the grown Ulash trees that stood as such a breath taking pure white showing it had fully grown.

"Indeed it is, my dear sister. Uggel is the only place where one could find Ulash wood, it's a rather rare and special type of plant. No words can ever give it's beauty credit making most just stay breathless over it" Lotor told his sister as he stood not far behind her, staying to the path around the growing site for the Ulash trees while his sister stood on the edge of the growing grounds uncaring over her shoes or the end of her dress becoming stained with the crystal blue dirt.

"No wonder this planet is so beloved, it makes one of the most capturing objects alive. Who wouldn't love something made by this, it's so smooth and warm, could make anyone feel safe no matter how bad the world becomes" Pidge commented with a bright smile, her hand touching the closest tree to her as she felt it heat up under her touch without ever burning her.

"If I am correct, you'll be facing your test inside of the gladiator ring soon or am I mistake?" Lotor asked his eight year old sister who's shoulders sank a little before she gave a small nod.

"I do, I'll be moving up in my age training ranks and as long as I keep passing the tests will honourable scores, I'll be given a set of amour by twelve and could be sent out to fight under Zarkon name" Pidge answered as she looked to the lemon colour sky as the two silver suns burned high in the sky.

The planet was as breath taking as the Ulash tree itself.

The water being a ruby red that just glimmered under the suns and always made the skin feel so soft. The air being so fresh and clean and somehow healed ones body from any bad.

It was such a peaceful planet, even if it was small in size.

"I'm sure you'll pass your test, you've passed every other test in the past. Even as other's doubt you for being a half breed, forcing you to feel as the weakest cub, I know just how strong you really are and know that some day, you'll be the shining star that leads us all to the better future" Lotor spoke up, a soft look on his face as he stepped forward to his sister and placed comforting hands on her shoulders.
