Chapter 10- a bad idea and a break up

Chess' POV:

"Farrah told me." Kate turned red.
"What did she tell you?" Kate asked, wife eyed.
"That you were going to break up with Eva so you could be with someone else."
"And do you know who that someone else is?"
"Well no, and you have to tell me. It's my job as your best friend to know everything about you." Kate took a deep breath and the color in her face slowly returned normal.
"So you don't know who the person is, so why are you pale and why aren't you playing your music?" Kate asked.
"It must me the lighting and my phone died." I said as i held up my phone. It looked as though a wave of relief washed over Kate.

"Anyway, did you just break up with Eva?" I asked.
"Umm, yeah. Kind of." Kate said.
"Is Eva ok?" I asked.
"She'll be fine by tomorrow, I think I saw Farrah's bag near the door so she probably has her."
"Are you ok?" I asked.
"I think so." She said.
"Kate answer truthfully." I pryed.
"I am." She said.
"Fine. I'll see you later?" I said once I got to Kates house.
"I'll see you later." Kate said.
"Text me if you want to talk about anything." I said and Kate shut the door.

Ugh shes so cute.
Chess you can't be thinking that.
She just broke up with someone.

I drove back to my house and walked in my room.
