Chapter 51- again?? (Pt 2)

Kate's POV:

"What do you mean we can't stay at our house?" Dad asked as he was sitting up in the chair. Mom put her face in her hands.
"It's apparently a 'crime scene'. No one can enter it." She replied.
"We don't have any clothes."
"We can buy some. They should have it cleared in a few days."
"So where are we going to go?"
"The Belmonts offered for us to stay with them." I said.
"Nickolas is on his way to pick up Josie."
"Whoa why is he picking me up?" I asked.
"You shouldn't be here." Mom said. I took off my one ring and started fiddling with it.
"It'll be okay, kiddo." Dad placed his hand over mine to stop the fidgeting.
"So, Kate. What do you want for your birthday?" I'm 18 in 6 days.
"I dont know." I muttered under my breath.
"Are your friends still coming over for a costume party?" Dad asked.
"I don't know." I responded. "And don't call it that."

Chess' POV:

*time skip to a little before Kate left the house to see the abundances and stuff*

"GREY TAKE YOUR SISTER TO THE STORE." Mom yelled.
"GOT IT. But why?" Grey asked as he turned the corner.
"She knows and that's all that matters."
"Yes ma'am. Lets go." We left the house and eventually got in the car.
"So where to?"
"Mall."
"K." He turned on the car and backed out the driveway.
"We need to get stuff for Kate."
"What about their parents?"
"Gabby's getting that."
"Ah okay."
"Also i need to get my costume for Kate's birthday."
"That can be a tomorrow thing." Grey said.
"Well yeah, obviously." I said.
"Have you heard any updates on the boys?"
"Not anything more then you know." I said. "They're not telling Katie anything."
"Jesus that sucks."
"I know." He pulled into a parking space and we started the process of getting out of the car.

We went inside the mall and got into the elevator.
"Umm macys?" He asked as he pushed the button.
"Yeah that works." I said.

Mama bear:
Kayden was just pronounced dead

Clemie:
Oh my god

Does Kate know?

Mama bear:
Not yet

Are they going to tell them?

Mama bear:
I don't know

"Kayden officially passed." I said quietly as the elevator doors opened.
"What about Killian?" Grey asked as we left.
"No updates on him."
"Is the family okay?"
"I have no clue." He shoved my wheel chair in the direction of Macys. We went around the store for a bit before grabbing stuff for Kate.

Keeping Up With the Belmonts

Papa bear:
Chess and Grey please hurry home, we have Kate

Gracie:
Okay

"We need to hurry up." Grey said as he put his phone in his pocket.
"Okay...I think we have enough." I said as i looked down at the stuff on my lap.
"Look! A puppy!" Some random kid yelled and started to pet Mando. I sighed.
"He's working, please don't pet him." Grey said as he pushed my wheelchair forward.
"But she has a green tail!"
"Where the hell is your mother?" I asked as she was following us.
"Excuse me, did you just curse at my daughter?" Some random lady just popped up out of nowhere. I handed the stuff in my lap to Grey and he walked to the check out.
