Chapter 27- things change

Chess's POV:

"MOMMMMMM!" I yelled. "Chess are you stuck again?" She asked. I looked around. I was stuck in between the wall and the tv stand facing the wall. I didn't answer. "Chess I told you not to go over there." She said as she was walking up to me. "Could you stop the 'I told ya so' and help me?" She started tugging on the back of my chair. "Franchesca Zoe Belmont how the heck did you get stuck back here?" "Grey dared me to." "Uh oh. Gotta go." He ran out of the living room. Mom tugged on the chair and I flipped backwards. I rolled over so I was on my stomach. "Thanks mom." I said as I was army crawling to the couch. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to." She said as she still was trying to get the wheelchair unstuck. I started feeling sharp pain in my stomach so I rolled onto my back. "I can't climb up on the couch, can you help?" I asked. "Yeah." Mom came over and lifted me up. "You have gotten bigger since the last time I had to help you on the couch." She said as she placed me on the couch. "Yeah because I'm 18 now." I said and turned on the tv.

"The murderer was 18 year old Riley Williams. She was arrested after she went on a second stabbing spree and killed 18 year old Alexander Hamilton. 17 year old Annleigh O'Daniel and 17 year old Kate Dalton." Mom shut off the tv and I grabbed my phone.
