Coach C's POV:

"WHERE THE HELL ARE THE UNIFORMS?!" George yelled.
"I donno. They were supposed to be delivered last week." I said as calmly as possible.
"THEY WERENT DELIVERED YET?!" George yelled.
"No, no, i think they were." I said.
"Great! Where are they?"
"Like i said before, i dont exactly know."
Eva and Farrah walked through the gym doors they threw their cheer bags down by the front foor and started walking over to George and I.
"I'll go check the office." George said and he left.
"Hey girls." I said once they got closer to me.
"Its a he/him day coach C." Farrah said.
"Okay. Hey Girl and Boy."
"That soimds like you're trying to lure us into your white van." Eva said.

A scream, then a thud, then another more angry scream, then a crash, then a shatter come from the office.
"Whats his deal?" Farrah asked.
"We lost the uniforms." I said.
"You did what now?" Farrah quickly replied.
"Regionals are almost here, you know." Eva said.
"I know honey, we just can't really do anything about it right now." I said.
"Can't we just wear the ones from last year?" Farrah asked.
"We have new teammates." Eva answered.
"Did one of you send out the new gym address?" I asked.
"He did." Eva said.
"I thought she did.." Farrah said.
"FARRAH!" I yelled.
"I THOUGHT YOU DID IT." Eva yelled at Farrah. George came out of the office and stood next to me.
"No i did." Farrah said.
"That boy is going to be the death of me." Eva said as she passed by us and over to a stack of boxes near the corner of the small gym.
"Boy?" George asked.
"Farrah's genderfluid." I said.
"Oh uh. Shit. I ordered you a uh girl uniform." George said. Farrah's face dropped a bit.
"Oh uh. Thats okay." Farrah said.
"You're a flyer. Girls are flyers. It would look weird if you had pants." George said. Eva and Farrah looked at each other.

Farrah's POV:

So the hunt for the uniforms continued.
"Wait! Here they are!" Eva said as she jumped into a box. Coach C ran over to her.
"Throw out the uniforms. They should be in plastic bags." Eva did.
"What about the Jackets?"
"Those too."
"And the practice uniforms?"
"God damn how much shit did y'all order?" I asked as I made my way over to Eva.
"Its now school regulated that theres uniforms and practice uniforms. They saw little B in a sports bra and lost their ever loving mind." Coach C said.
"And the jackets?" Eva asked. I helped her out of the box.
"They look badass." Coach W said.
"Can we get a look before everyone else?!" I asked. I got really close up to coach C. "Pleaseeeeeee."
"Hmmm I don't know...I thinks this should be done as a team."
"I got stabbed on your watch." I said completely dead pan.
"Farrah Grace." Eva snapped.
"What?? I'm not wrong."
"Because y'all are the captain and co-captain, I don't see why not." Coach W said.
"George!"

Eva and I started digging through the bags of varsity jackets.
"You girls have something a little special on the front of your jackets though." Coach W said.
"Not a girl." Eva and I said. Eva threw a bag at me. I ripped it open and pulled out an off white jacket with black and orange stripes going down the sleeves. I quickly flipped it to the back. It said "GCHS CHEERLEADING" along the top in orange wording outlined with black. It had an orange, white, and black pom pom with 2 black tiger paws on the base of them. I looked over at Eva and she was admiring the back of the jacket as well.
"Flip it to the front." Coach C said.
"Thats what she said." I said and did as she told us. Eva did the same.
Our first and last names were written in black wording outlined with orange on the right side a little higher than boob space. Under my name it said "Co-captain"
"LOOK! IT SAYS CO-CAPTAIN! TAKE THAT SHE-WHO-WILL-NOT-BE-NAMED! IT IS A REAL THING!" I yelled.
"MINE SAYS CAPTAIN!" Eva yelled.

I threw mine in the direction of the front door. Eva put hers on and we both reached in the direction of the uniforms.
"No, not the uniforms. That'll be a team thing." Coach C kicked them away from us.
"Ughhhh." I complained.
"Look at the practice uniforms." Coach W said.
"Oh right! We have those!" Eva said and started looking for our names.
I grabbed the one that said my name on the bag as soon as i found it. I ripped open the bag and a pulled out an orange skirt with a rip on the right side and its trimmed with white.
"That skirt looks like ass." Eva said. I laughed.
"Coach W picked them out. Thats why." Coach C said.
"Check the shirt." Eva said and I pulled it out of the bag. I held up a matching tight shirt with no sleeves. It had "GCHS" in white letters outlined with black. "Yeah...thats not any better." Eva said.
"The unis are better, yes?" I asked, not looking up from the butt-ugly practice uni.
"Yes. Yes they are." Coach C said.
"I like them." Coach W said.
"If the boys look better I'm throwing hands." I said and got off the ground.
"Looks like Farrah will be throwing hands!" Coach W said.
"No. He will not be doing that." Coach C said. Eva grabbed her bag.
"Lets go change." She said.
"Mhm." We walked in the direction of the office and went into the one stall bathroom.
