Chess's POV:

"Mom, no one is going to see my hair. Knock it off." I said as I started pushing her hands away from my head. "Sorry, I'll stop." She said and started taking the streamers off of my wheelchair. I let her, the streamers started to rip anyway. "Can we give her the graduation present? So she can use him at graduation?" Dad said. Use him? "He's outside right now. I just let him out." Grey said. "What's going on?" I asked. "GABBY! CLEM!" My two older sisters came into the living room. "Oh are you giving her-" Gabby started and mom nodded her head. "Alright," mom looked straight at me. "Since we got the news you were going to be paralyzed, we were told we should look into getting you a mobility assistance dog. We weren't sure at first but when you got home you started obviously struggling. So we started looking into the dog. We finally found one a few nights ago and your father picked him up today. He is a Bernese Mountain Dog, his name is Mando, well it's actually Mandalorian but the person we got him from said they never called him Mandalorian, they only called him Mando. He can hit buttons on automatic doors, bring items to your hands or can retrieve something you may have dropped, turn lights on and off, open and close doors, and can help with pushing the wheelchair up a ramp. We rigged the house with things so he can open doors for you. We also got some pins for his service dog vest, they are from the Mandalorian so we thought the name and the pins would look cute together. Oh and if your home or doing something that he doesn't need to be working you can say 'go say hi', 'break free', or  'break' if you want him to act like an actual dog. It will take a little for you both to get used to each other but I'm sure it won't take long." Mom said and took a blue service dog vest out of a box and handed me it. She handed me a tooth fairy bag of Mandalorian pins too. I was in shock, I didn't know what to say. Grey ran into the backyard. After a few seconds he came back and a fluffy white, black, and brown dog came trotting in. He immediately ran over to me and put his head in my lap. "Hi buddy." I said and started petting his head. "I'll teach Chess his commands." Dad said.

Cairo's POV:

"Yeahhhhhh, I decided I'm not going." I said and sat down on the couch. "Young lady, you can not miss your graduation." My step dad said. "I can, and I am. I don't want to go." I said. My 8 year old little sister, Naya, walked over to me. "And what do you want?" I asked her. "For you to go to your graduation." She said and tried to pull me off the couch. My other 8 year old sister, Jasmin, came over to help her twin with getting me off the couch. I looked over at my mom and she picked my 3 year old half sister, Kaz, up. Mom gave me a 'you better get up those stairs and get ready for your graduation before I throw something at you' look. "Fine, I don't want to go because Riley and I have always talked about going. We were going to have all this matching stuff, take all these graduation photos, and we had speeches planned out and stuff like that. I don't want to go without her." I said and Naya and Jasmin both stopped pulling me off the couch. "Riley is a murderer." Jasmin said. "Yeah, you can't go with her." Naya said. "This is so dumb! I should be able to say if I want to go to graduation or not." I said. "Cairo Anja Jackson, get your ass up those stairs and get ready for graduation. Your dad and stepmom are going, you can't just tell your dad you aren't going." Mom yelled. I hate my stepmom. She has 6 daughters and they all are better than me in her eyes. My dad and her have my only brother, but Zion doesn't like me that much. "No!" Oh shit- I didn't mean to say that out loud. I'm in for it now. "What did you just say?" "Nothing! Nothing!" I started scrambling to get up the stairs. "I'll get ready now."

Reese's POV:

"LETS GO FARRAH!" I yelled and she came running out of her bedroom. She was fixing her  white dress with a silver ribbon around the waist. "Sorry, let's go." She said and ran out the door. "Oh, oh, okay. Well, that just happened. Bye!" I said to her parents and left the house. Thanks to some new rule so graduation wasn't so crowded was that each person graduating could bring 4 people. I only have my mom and my dad who want to come so I forced Farrah to come too. I hopped in the car and looked at Farrah. "Cap and gowned is in the back?" She asked. "Yeah, I'll put it on when I get there." I said and started driving.
