Ankita's P.O.V.

Reaching back the camp, Ayaan and I entered. Holding onto my hand possessively, he asked, "Did we really have to come back? We could have just remained there." "Tomorrow your practice will start back. You have to get up very early. And besides, do you want another treat like this? If you do, then you have to win," I said. He wrapped his arms around me and asked, "Do I really have to let you go?" I smiled and joined my hands behind his neck saying, "Only for a few hours." "Then, can I have a good night kiss?" He asked. I tiptoed and kissed his cheek. "Good night," I said. "You missed the spot," he said softly. I pecked his lips and before he could deepen it, I pulled away. Stepping back, I went into my room and looked at him from the window going into his. I went quietly and laid on my bed. Feeling very sleepy, I closed my eyes as slumber engulfed me. Opening my eyes the next morning, I smiled happily. There was something different about the direction of the wind. Everything seemed beautiful. Just like a movie or novel. And I knew why. Ayaan completed me last night. He gave me the joy of belonging to someone. I took a warm bath and got ready. Coming back to the room, Preeti sat and looked at me on the bed. "You came back quite late last night. Where were you two?" She asked cheekily. I blushed and bent my head unable to tell her. Getting off the bed, she rushed to me and turned me to her. "You and Ayaan..." she said but didn't complete. My face turned red in blushing and she squealed. "You two...had...some..." she said and paused. "Shut up!" I said pushing her away. "Ok kiddo. Hide it how much you want. But these things don't hide forever. Now or later you will have to reveal everything to me," she said going into the bathroom. I went outside, only with the intention of getting to see Ayaan for the morning. Sitting at the eating table, I looked at his room door closed and played with my fingers, thinking about how will I look at him. Staring at the door, I began to get impatient and not being able to wait any longer, I went to his room. Thinking about if to knock or not, I paced up and down.

Finally making up my mind for the possible consequences, I knocked on the door and without gaining any permission, I opened it and peeped inside. Ayaan was standing at his bed with his towel wrapped around his waist, covering the lower parts of his body till his knees and was looking at the clothes scattered on the bed. I smiled amused and closed the door. Going back to the table, I took a seat and waited there for him. He finally came out and sat next to me. Everyone also began joining. "Enjoyed what you saw?" He whispered to me. I frowned at him asking, "What are you talking about?" "The sight of a hot and dashing guy in a towel," he said. My jaw dropped. "But your back was turned to me," I said. "There is a mirror in my room Miss Kapoor," he said leaving me embarrassed. "Tell me, why were you peeping at me?" He asked. "I wasn't peeping at you," I said. He looked at me sarcastically believing. While eating silently for a minute, I felt a grip on my leg, under the table and my hand immediately dropped the spoon struck in surprise. This made me gain everyone's attention and I smiled nervously. "Sorry," I said and shot a glare at Ayaan. Despite warning him through my eyes, he smirked and caressed my leg making me shiver. I began to lose my senses and feel light headed by his touch. Before he made me faint away, I held his hand, stopping him. But this backfired on me as he grabbed onto it and kept it under the table. Now, I could only eat with my right hand which was going to be difficult since I am a left hander. But I still had to try. I took up the spoon but could hardly keep my grip on it as all the food were slipping out. "Ankita, why are you eating with the wrong hand?" Preeti asked me in a whispering tone. I frowned at her and explained through my eyes my situation. She smirked and continued on with her breakfast. Ayaan's grip on my hand wasn't seeming to loosen and I couldn't let anyone realise what he was up to. I had one last option which was the only one he left for me to rescue my hand. I dug my nail into his skin and he immediately released my hand and exclaimed, "Ouch!"

Everyone's attention was now on him and he looked around speechless. "What's wrong?" Princy asked. Smiling nervously, he said, "Nothing sir. Just something striking painful hit me." "What?" Princy asked confused. "Nothing sir," he said. I covered my laugh and tried concealing it but it was impossible. Ayaan glared at me angrily while gritting his teeth. "Learn to keep your hands to yourself," I whispered to him making him more annoyed. As breakfast was about to finish, Princy said to me before leaving, "Ankita, come and meet me in my office." I nodded with a frown. Why was he calling me? I didn't make any mistake. Did he find out about Ayaan and me? This thought made me tremble. Looking at Ayaan, I got up and went to Princy's office. Knocking on the door, he gave me permission and I entered. "Come Ankita," he said with a smile and I got a bit of relief. "Yes sir," I said standing in front him. "Ankita, I have been looking at you and I am seeing that you have been quite well behaved with Ayaan. So, I thought that it's time to end your punishment and assign you to some other duty," he said making me frown once more. "Sir..." I started but he cut me off saying, "I know that you might have become friends with Ayaan by now and you don't find working with him a problem but we still have to adhere to rules right? Your time is up with him and I will assign you to some other duty in management." I nodded with a disappointed frown and left. Going to Ayaan's practice spot, I sat on the log feeling so sad. "What happened? Why did Princy call you?" Ayaan asked me. Looking at him, I said, "He said that my punishment to work with you is now over and he is going to assign me to management." "What?" He asked frowning, "So, this means that you have to leave me?" I nodded. "This is not fair!" He exclaimed standing up. "Ayaan, these are the rules of the competition," I said. "I don't want to follow any rules," he said. Smiling at his behaviour, I stood up and rubbed his back. "It's not like you won't ever meet me again," I said and he turned around frustrated but before he could say anything, I continued, "I am in the same camp still. I just won't be in front of you all day. But lunch will also come, right?" He turned his head away stubbornly. "Ayaan," I said holding his hand, "I love you." I kissed his knuckles.

"I'll see you later. Rehearse well. And don't miss me too much," I said stepping back from him. Holding onto my hand tightly, he said, "You promise me that you won't miss me and I'll do the same." I dropped my shoulders and said, "I didn't say I won't miss you at all. I am asking that you don't miss me to the extent that it affects your rehearsal." "Fine!" He said giving in, "But I still need glimpses of you throughout the day." "And I need to see you too," I said. I tiptoed and kissed his cheek. Leaving him there, I went to Pihu for my work. She rolled her eyes at the sight of me. "You! You will share water to all the workers on the stage," she said. I smiled sarcastically and said, "But that's your job, isn't it? How can I steal it?" "Why? I thought you love stealing all of my possessions," she said. Rolling my eyes, I said, "Oh please! What do you have that I would want?" "Ayaan?" She said. I frowned at her. "Going into a hotel room and spending the entire evening and night. What's that about? Returning the next morning and having him touch you under the table, care to explain?" She said. I was speechless. Literally, I had no words or answers for her. "Be thankful that I didn't reveal this to Princy otherwise you would have been out of this camp," she said gritting her teeth, "Now get to work! You have been assigned to backstage management." I left her silently and went to my work. Meeting Vicky, he asked, "What was going on over there?" "Nothing. You know Pihu and her spicy tongue," I said. Shaking his head, he said, "Come and help me a bit with these drapes." Getting to work, I didn't even keep track of time and without realising, I began missing Ayaan. "I'll be back," I said and left the stage. Going to his practice spot, I stood behind some shrubs and looked at him performing half heartedly. I knew that it was because I wasn't in front of him. Hoping that he look at me, I smiled and stared at him. Finally, his eyes fell on me and I sent a flying kiss for him. This would help rejuvenate him and keep him up. Making a full heart with my both hands, I showed him, sending all my love to him. He smiled and resumed practice. This time, he went all out and rocked the stage as he always did. Smiling, I also went back to my work after receiving my boost of energy.

After some more work, I went to my room to wash my hands before lunch but entering my room, I met Ayaan sitting on my bed, with my diary. Running up to him, I grabbed it and shouted, "How can you read my personal diary?" Smiling, he stood up and asked, "If I didn't, how would I have known all the dreams you had about me?" I turned around embarrassed and hugged the diary. Snaking his hands around my waist, he whispered in my ear, "So, you dream of having my initials tattooed on you huh? And you want me to see it." "That was all a night of crazy thoughts," I said. "And you also dreamt that I would come close to you and actually make your heart race in real life," he said. "You have already fulfilled that dream," I said, "Many times." "What else have you hidden in this book of secrets?" He asked. "That's for me to know and you to remain unknown," I said. "Yes but as much as I read, it's all about me. So, technically, I have all rights to know," he said. "What are you doing here by the way?" I asked. He turned me around and said, "Ankita, today for the second time, I missed you like hell. I can't do anything without you." "So, am I an addiction or obsession?" I asked playing with the zip on his jacket. "You are my necessity," he said desperate. "Hmm...impressive," I said. "Claim me and end this suffering," he said. He leaned closer to me and slightly rubbed his lips against mine, inviting me. "Don't tease me. Love me," I said. And it was not before long that he accepted and kissed me. Kissing me with different emotions of hunger, love, passion, fulfilment, I also got the cure to my burning desire from the half day away from him.
