Ankita's P.O.V.

I woke up after going to sleep very angry at Ayaan last night. When I got Uncle Jason's call and I heard how Ayaan treated Namit, I was furious. Sitting on my bed, I took my watch and looked at the time. I had one hour before I could start the day and work so I decided that if something could calm me down, it would be a great cup of tea. I got ready and left. It was freezing! Christmas was just around the corner and everything gave me nostalgia. Rubbing my palms together for some heat in my body, I was walking but as Sandu's stall came in sight, something strange slowly down my footsteps. Ayaan and Namit were sitting and having tea there like friends. They were laughing and enjoying with each other. Rubbing my eyes, I thought to myself, "Am I dreaming? Or is Ayaan really hanging out with Namu?" He looked at me with a smile and I walked to the stall. Looking at them with my jaw hang down, I silently stared at them to confirm that what I am seeing was true. Ayaan stood up and held my hand. "I have apologised to Namit for whatever I said and did. I am really ashamed at not trusting you after all the promises I made. I was too scared of losing you. I'm sorry. I really hurt you. It won't happen again," he said sincerely. I smiled. "It's ok. I only wanted you to realise your mistake and I'm glad you did and rectified it," I said. His smiled came back and I looked at Namu. "I must say Anu, you have really chosen someone who loves you dearly. So dearly that he could have killed me just for you," he said standing behind Ayaan. I frowned at him and cuffed his arm. "Ayaan won't have the opportunity to kill someone. Because I will never deceive him," I said. He nodded saying, "I'm going now. You two enjoy each other's company. The shop is open back there." I looked at him walking away and turned to Ayaan. "How did you find yourself here this early?" I asked sitting down. "I knew you would come," he said. "How could you have known that if I didn't know I was coming here?" I asked. "Your heart gave me a miss call," he said. I shook my head and said giggling, "That was so cheesy!" "Darling, cheesy lines impress girls more effectively. It's scientifically proven," he said. "I would love to read the research on that," I said taking the cup of tea Sandu brought for me.

Sipping the piping hot tea, it gave me the exact amount of warmth I needed for my body. Looking at Ayaan, I asked, "What made you change your mind from last night?" "After you left me, I knew that you weren't going to actually talk to me until I apologise so I did," he said. Shaking my head, I said, "Ayaan Veer Malhotra decided by himself that he would apologise? Hard to believe." "I didn't decide this by myself. Dad spoke to me and then I made this decision," he said. I took his hand in mine and looked at him, "Ayaan, I am proud of you." He smiled at me. We sat and had the tea and then headed back. I went to the stage to decorate for the night and Ayaan went to practice. Tonight was the semi-final and whoever were chosen, would go onto the finals. I knew that Ayaan would get through this easily since, with no bias, he was the best. While working, I got a call from Mrs. Kapoor and was shocked. Staring at the phone for a second to comprehend, I answered to hear, "Ankita, Shanaya is in Manali. I want you to go, collect her and drop her off at the hotel." "But, I'm busy," I said. "Is your work more important or your sister?" She asked with her voice breaking. I understood that Dad was around her. Dropping my shoulders and rolling my eyes, I felt a hand on my shoulder and turning around, I saw Ayaan. He looked at me as I said, "I will try but I am not promising anything." "You will go and get your sister. Even if it gets you kicked out of that camp," she said gritting her teeth. "I will try," I said annoyed. "Ankita..." she started but before she could say anything, I hang up the phone and looked at Ayaan. "Is everything alright?" He asked. "It was Mrs. Kapoor. She wants me to go collect my step-sister. But I have so much of work to do here," I said pouting. "It's ok. Then, I'll go and collect her," he said. "No!" I exclaimed. He looked at me taken aback. "I mean, you have to practice. Tonight is the semi-final. I can't take your time. And besides, it might be better that my family remains unknown to our relationship at the moment. If Shanaya finds out that I am dating you, she will tell Dad and he will definitely call me back," I said.
