Ankita's P.O.V.

I stepped out of my house and saw Rohan waiting for me. I smiled and dropped my shoulders. Walking up to him, I asked, "Aren't you going to be late for your exam?" He smiled and opened the door for me saying, "The exam can wait on me. You might reach to school late." I shook my head and sat inside. He closed the door and came quickly and sat in the driver's seat. As he drove me, I asked, "Are you ready?" He took a deep breath and letting it out, he said, "Ready as I'll ever be. It's just one more exam and I can be a qualified doctor." "Wow!" I said, "I can't believe my Ro is going to be a doctor soon! When did we grow up so quickly? It seems like it was only yesterday when I first met you and you were pulling my hair for my chocolate." He smiled and looked ahead. "And when my Ani completes her degree in business management, do you remember our plan?" he asked. "Of course I do. You would open your very own hospital and I would be the CEO and you would be the head doctor," I said. "And that way, we would always remain close together," he said holding my hand. "We would remain together anyways," I said. We reached my college and he dropped me outside. I got out and bent down, looking inside. "All the best," I wished him. "Thanks. I'll meet you later at the usual spot," he said. "Bye," I said and left him. I entered the school's compound and was walking through the corridor when I heard on the P.A. system, "Ankita Kapoor, please report to the Principal's office." I changed my direction and went to Princy's office. I knocked and gained permission to enter. "Good morning sir," I said standing opposite him. "Come Ankita, please sit," he said. I sat down. "I just want to congratulate you on a job well done for the function. You really managed to pull everything off excellently," he said. "Thank you sir. But it wasn't only my efforts. I couldn't have done with without my team," I said modestly. "Yes, you guys indeed did a great job. That's why, I have some good news for you all," he said. I waited silently and listened to him, "This is your last year in the college and you have managed to make a great name in whatever you do. I have one last offer to you if you want to accept it."

"Please tell me sir," I said. "You know that the school organises a camp concert annually and we are having it again this year as always," he started. I began to get very excited inside as this could be the biggest achievement for my resume and school's character folder. "And I was wondering, after seeing how well you managed to coordinate the function, that I make you manager of the entire concert this year," he said leaving me in utter shock. I didn't even know how to respond to  this. This is huge! "Would you like to be the manager of the concert?" he asked. "I would love to sir. It would be a honour and pleasure," I said. "Great! You can gather your team and meet me for the lunch period. The concert will be starting one week from now so you have to work fast," he said. Standing up, I said with happiness and gratitude, "Thank you sir for this opportunity. I promise that I won't let you down." "The auditions will begin from tomorrow itself," he said. "I will handle everything sir. You don't worry at all," I said confidently. "I know you will," he said smiling, "That's all. You can proceed to your class now." I nodded and left his office. As soon as I reached outside, I began jumping with excitement and joy. Preeti came and looked at me confused at my antics and asked, "What happened to you?" "I'll tell you! Come!" I said excited and held her hand. I carried her to the  cafeteria and we sat down. "Guess what!" I started, "Princy has appointed me the manager of this year's camp concert!" I said. She looked at me with her jaw hang down as I waited for her to say something. "Are you serious?! This is huge!" she literally screamed. "Please keep the noise down," a student said. She frowned and looked at me saying again in a lower toner, "This is huge!" "I know right!" I said. "Wait! So does this mean that you get to choose your team?" she asked. I nodded with a smirk. "Ankita, please please please I want to be on the team too," she began pleading. "Relax. I already have my team," I said. "Really?" she asked slowly starting to frown. I nodded and said, "My same team from the school's function." "Oh my God! This means I'm in!" she screamed again. The same student who was sitting in the table next to us gritted his teeth and slammed his book close.
