"Jieun, you won't believe what's happening!" Jaehwa cried as she ran out of the elevator the next day, to her best friend who sat at the desk, munching on a donut.
"Mmm, Whuth ish ith?" She asked, mouth full of the sugary deliciousness. Jaehwa walked up to her and snatched a donut out of her stash for herself before she could protest. "I met that jerk's secretary and he is a prick!"
Jieun furrowed her eyebrows, questioningly. "Who are you thalking abouth?" Jieun swallowed the contents of her mouth with a sip of her coffee. "Wait a minute, you mean... Kim Seokjin?"
"Yes! That prick exactly!"
"You think he's a prick? Why?" Jieun asked curiously.
"I don't think he's a prick. He is a prick." Jaehwa spat out before she began narrating the story of what happened at the party adding a little bit of spice here and there to which Jieun carefully listened and by the time she had finished her narration, she was laughing at Jaehwa.
"Ahahaha... oh my god, that was the funniest thing I have ever heard from you." Jieun was saying, wiping fake tears off her face.
"You think it's funny?" She asked.
"Of course, because you think he did that on purpose while he was probably just very clumsy."
"Of course not! It was on purpose. You didn't see what he did. You didn't see that creepy smile!" Jaehwa cried, growing frustrated by each second.
"See, that's exactly why it's funny. I met Seokjin yesterday and he was the most charming guy ever. I don't know why you find his smile creepy but you are going over the board with it. It's because he's your enemy isn't it?" She asked with a knowing look on her face.Jieun knew that Jaehwa tended to consider anyone who was against Sahan her natural enemy. This was also probably one of those cases. "Anyway, I was just about to let you know that the Sahans have dropped again."
"Why? Why is this happening? Come on, he is not even that handsome." Jaehwa exclaimed. Seriously, what's with those people? So what if the new secretary was handsome, they are still on the losing side. Sahan was the one with greater performance. He was the one who was doing well in meetings and contributing the most to the company. Why would they go to Yoongi?
"It's because they see a potential in him," Jieun replied.
"What?"
"Seokjin started working in the company a week ago, for your obliviousness's information, and he had been at work ever since. Sure, he is charming and handsome, but he's got this certain aura. He's got that confidence and people see potential in him that pushes them to take a risk. That's what all the low-level members and some of the nonadministrative employees are saying on the group chat." She explained, holding the company's group chat out to Jaehwa who narrowed her eyes at it.
"Aura of confidence? Utter BS! These people really don't know how to judge people do they?" She scoffed.
"Come on, they all are pretty good judges of character. You are just being too biased. That's why I'm telling you to come out of your bubble. Look around. I bet you didn't even know about Seokjin until I told you about him yesterday."
"I- Alright, I didn't know but I'm telling you the truth Jieun, he did it on purpose!"
Jieun only shook her head acting as if she was just an annoying child throwing a tantrum. Jaehwa stamped on the ground. She was biased? Jieun was the one who was being biased because he is handsome and she dared call her biased. Stupid Jieun.
"Fine then! I'll show it to you!" Jaehwa yelled as she stomped back to her office and Jieun chuckled after her.

"Kim Seokjin, you jerk!" Jaehwa jabbed a finger at the Holo headquarters building as she stood at its entrance. Clutching her coat, she cried, "You thought I wouldn't know? I am going to get you back for that! Just you wait! You fak-"
"Are you talking about me?"
"Aaahhhhhh!" Jaehwa whirled around like a deer caught in the headlights to see none other than the cause of her distress early in the morning standing beside her in a neat black suit and his hands in his pocket, admiring the view of Holo with a smile.
"Don't sneak up on me like that!" Jaehwa cried placing a hand over her chest as she looked up at the tall man who was now watching her reactions with an amused smile. "Hello to you too." He replied cheekily. "Nice to meet you again, Ms.Han Jaehwa, am I right?"
Jaehwa raised an eyebrow. Nice to meet you? What is this? She cleared her throat. Professionalism, Jaehwa remember? Be professional.
Jaehwa stood a little straighter, adjusting her coat. She held her nose higher, "Yes, I am Han Jaehwa."
"Quite the beautiful name you have. Jaehwa... the name that alludes to beauty, respect, and prosperity," Kim Seokjin commented. "Well Ms.Han Jaehwa, I hope you are quite well respected and I wish you all the prosperity. Then, Salut!" Seokjin said with a wave before he walked off into the building.
Hope you are well respected? Wish you prosperity? What does that mean?
"Did he- did he just say, I was not respected? Did he just say that I won't be prosperous because of him? Did he just threaten me?" Jaehwa yelled at the innocent building in front of her as if it would magically come alive and answer all her questions. To no one's surprise, the building didn't answer back.

Salut: bye
A/n: My favorite thing about Jaehwa is that she's quick to jump to conclusions while the other person might not even have meant anything...
