"Get inside. Your shoulders are getting wet."

Seokjin pulled Jaehwa closer who was covering her shoulder with a hand as if that would help her from the onslaught of the rain.

"Blame your worldwide shoulders for it!" She bit out to him.

He chuckled, taking the umbrella from her hand. "Fine, fine. I'll hold this."

Jaehwa didn't have it in her to protest. Wait a minute. She turned around scrunching her nose in confusion. "But your car's parked in the parking lot, right? Why are you coming this way?"

He shrugged, "Thought I'd take the bus with you. I don't quite feel like driving."

But wouldn't the car be more comfortable? She shrugged. He could do whatever he wanted. It was none of her business after all.

A few minutes later, Jaehwa entered the bus scanning her bus card with Seokjin in tow. She quickly made her way to an empty seat, not caring to wait for the latter who stood there turning his pockets upside down for loose change since he didn't have a bus card with him. After sitting there and watching him embarrass himself for about five minutes, she had had enough. Walking back to the machine, she scanned her card a second time for him. "Here."

Ignoring him, she went back to her seat. She didn't expect him to follow her and take the same seat beside her. She breathed out an annoyed exhale. Why does he have to sit beside her when there were several other empty seats just sitting idly with no one to occupy them? She sighed. She didn't have enough energy to protest anymore. She looked out the window and was about to let herself relax when she felt a weight on her left shoulder. Jaehwa barely concealed a surprised squeal when she figured out that it was Seokjin's head on her shoulder. "W-what are you doing?!"

"I'm tired." He mumbled weakly, his eyes closed. Suddenly feeling highly flustered, she tried to wriggle out from there but he placed a hand on hers stopping her. "Just how heartless are you?" He whined softly.

Jaehwa opened and closed her mouth like a fish. How was she supposed to respond to that? Just ignore him, Jaehwa. She mentally instructed herself. Easier said than done! How was she supposed to ignore him when he...when he...

Fudge cakes! He was lying on her shoulder! Her shoulder! Jaehwa was internally freaking out. How was she supposed to survive this dilemma? The proximity of his head was making her highly nervous for some unknown reason and Jaehwa bit on her thumbnail like she did every time she felt anxious. What am I supposed to do?

Let's try to calm down, okay? Breathe in... Breathe out... Slowly trying to remember the meditation lessons from some yoga channel she had watched in her past, Jaehwa tried to calm down.

Inner peace... Calm... let's count back from 100 to 0. She recalled the narrator's soothing voice from her memories. Closing her eyes she tried to count.

100...99...98...97...96....

The slow rhythmic breathing of a certain someone brought her attention back to him. Did he fall asleep? Already? He must have been really tired. Jaehwa observed the guy who was sleeping peacefully on her shoulder, his moderately long hair falling loosely above his forehead, just over his eyes. He looked so peaceful and calm when he was relaxed. It was so hard to get used to it. It was as if he were an entirely different person. Bringing a hand forth, she slid his hair out of the way. Suddenly, her fingers froze, her eyes widening in realization. What the hell am I doing?!!

Jerking her hand back down, she snapped her head back out the window.

1000! 999! 998! 997! 996...

"Miss! You need to get off. This is the last stop. Miss!" Jaehwa jolted awake from her sleep startled. The driver of the bus walked off, grumbling under his breath as she woke up. Jaehwa looked around. Where am I? What happened? The bus was empty. There was no one inside. Not even a certain jerk who had boarded the bus with her. The driver had informed her that it was the last stop. Then...

"Did he seriously just leave me here?!"

Throwing the phone on the bed, Jaehwa flopped down on her bed, pouting angrily at the innocent device which lay face down on her mattress. Jabbing a finger at it, she questioned. "Why do you have to be a jerk?"

To her frustration and to none's surprise, her phone's only response was silence. "Hmph!"

She fell back to her bed and laid there watching the ceiling.

"If only you were a little nicer..."

Jaehwa's eyes slowly slid shut as the exhaustion of the day took over relishing in the warmth of her bed. All of a sudden, her eyes shot open.

"Wait...what did I just say?"
