Seokjin couldn't remember the next few moments after he had read the message.

All went by a blur as he felt himself lose his mind and the chaos he had kept calm inside of him for so long broke loose. A low guttural scream tore through his throat and he felt the tender feel of his hair on his hand he tugged it down with all his might. Something hot and fiery coursed through his veins and all he saw when the blur cleared was the mark on his wall and his phone lying on the floor in thousand different broken pieces. He felt the world spin and the low dim lights of the city that shone in through his windows blended into a chaotic mess.

Seokjin fell onto his sofa, a hand desperately holding onto the seat as if it would help him reign himself in. It did nothing to help. The other hand slid down his face defeated and fell limply by his side. He observed with tired, dead eyes the chaos he had created. How f*cking beautiful. It was such a marvelous recreation of the tumult in his mind. The madness of his mind was yet to calm. He was starving for something. He needed a way to let it all out. He was finally done with it all.

A slow cold smile stretched across his lips.

It's time.

After all, all good things must come to an end.

"When are you going to learn Min Sahan?"

Chairman Min Jae Yoon placed the chopsticks on the dining table as his calm calculating gaze fell on his son. Dabbing a napkin against his lips, he crushed the napkin into a ball and tossed it on the table. "You want Holo? I don't think you can handle it."

"But Yoongi can?" Sahan asked, his face red. It was all he could do to not burst out.

Yoongi, Yoongi, Yoongi! All the time. Why wouldn't he ever notice his efforts? Why wouldn't he ever acknowledge him? Trying to calm down, he asked slowly. "Why...? I've done everything there is to do. I have always tried my best. I don't understand why Yoongi gets all the credit. Why does he have to be the better one?"

Min Jae Yoon couldn't help the scoff. "You have tried your best? Sahan haven't you realized it yet?" The chairman asked, leaning back into his chair, training his scrutinizing glare on his son. "It's not you. You're using people to your advantage. You do anything you want to get what you want but you never consider the consequences."

"What do you mean father?" Sahan asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"It's that secretary, isn't it? Han Jaehwa..." Min Jae Yoon spoke remembering her name, "A little... less refined." he added, stroking a finger against his chest. "Still, that child is too talented. She shouldn't even be in a mere secretary position. You're taking advantage of her, isn't it?"

Sahan's face flushed even more. "What does that mean father? She is my Secretary. She works for me."

Jae Yoon looked to Sahan and sighed exasperatedly, "You said, you had tried your best and that you've done everything there is to do. Do you think you could have done that without her help?" Sahan didn't have a response.

"Do you think she'll stay with you forever, Sahan? Do you think she'll always be there for you to take advantage of? What would you do if she decides to quit?"

Sahan remained silent, gripping the spoon in his hand so hard that it created a dent on the silverware. Scraping the chair back, the chairman stood up from the table. "That girl... bless her, she's loyal to you." He muttered before he walked out of the room leaving Sahan alone with his untouched food.

His jaw ticked as he glared at the empty spot where the chairman was a few minutes ago. Slowly, forcing himself to calm down, Sahan closed his eyes. The anger in him slowly seemed to dissipate as his tensed-up shoulders relaxed and his clenched fists loosened releasing the silver spoon from his grasp. Sahan slowly opened his eyes and they coolly raked over the room, the table and finally, it landed on the Chairman's chair.

"What if I can make her stay, Father?"

"What did you say?"

Jieun beamed as the pink that dusted her cheeks reddened even more turning into a brilliant shade of tomato and Jaehwa could see the excited gleam that glazed over her eyes. Taking a deep breath, Jieun repeated what she had said.

"I said Seokjin asked me out."
