"So let me get this straight."
Jeon Jungkook brought his hands forward, cutting the air in front of him to make a point. "You are basically bullying your rival."
Seokjin sipped on his coffee as he sat across from his best friend who was occasionally shoving large amounts of popcorn into his mouth as he intently listened to his latest adventures at the Holo. Jungkook seemed particularly invested in the story and he didn't mind narrating it to his friend as it was something he himself found amusing. Jin couldn't remember the last time life was this interesting for him.
He folded his hands as he frowned at Jungkook's conclusion. "What do you mean bullying Jungkook? It's my job."
Jungkook smirked, "I want to see where in your job description it states that you should bully your enemy."
"You won't get it, Kook-ah. Let's change the subject-"
"Let's not change the subject." He cut him off as he turned around to face his Hyung, looking him in the eyes determined. Jin let out an exasperated sigh.
"I don't understand why you're so hung up on that subject."
"Because it's different. You never bully girls." Jungkook paused before he continued, displeasure evident in his voice, "You play with their feelings."
"There's nothing different about it." He concluded firmly ignoring the silent jab from Jungkook.
"Hyung, I met you in highschool. I've known you for almost ten years. So don't expect me to believe that BS because I won't."
Seokjin sighed again, giving in to the younger. He was right. He knew him better than anyone. Perhaps even better than he himself. There was no point in hiding something from him anyway since he would find out about it one way or the other. Jungkook had a weird way of finding out things he hid from him. Especially the ones he had wanted to hide the most.
"You want to know what's different Jungkook? I'll tell you."
He took another sip out of his steaming cup of coffee before he looked Jungkook in the eyes.
"Because... they said she was loyal." Jungkook's smile faded. Jin smiled sarcastically, "You know I'm allergic to that word."
"Hyung."
"So I got curious. I want to see how far she'll go. I want to test how far I can go before she breaks-"
"Hyung!"
Seokjin's smile dropped. He stood up from the couch. Placing the cup of coffee on the nearby table, he turned.
"I have to go. Thanks for the coffee."

"Where do you think you're going little Han Jaehwa?"
Jaehwa mentally cursed as her attempt at closing the elevator door before Jin could get in failed. The man of her nightmares grinned as he leaned away from the door frame of the lift door and casually stepped inside the elevator watching her angry scowl with amusement.
"Away from you." She retorted bitterly.
"Ah... I see," he whispered before he smiled again, "but what can you do? You can't get away."
"What's that supposed to mean?" She narrowed her eyes at him waiting for an explanation. She never got anything in return except for his signature cocky grin. How can a person be so infuriating? Jaehwa had never met someone like him ever before. What was his deal? Did he have something against her?
She didn't know how she was going to survive the elevator ride with him. Let's just ignore him for now, Jaehwa. Don't let the guy ruin your day. Shaking her head, she stepped to the side lifting a finger to press the button for the 13th floor when a familiar cry reached her.
"Jae!"
She looked up just in time to see Jieun running up to her waving her hands in the air. Hmm, someone looks late. Jaehwa thought as her friend ran inside the elevator puffing and panting.
"Thank god, I didn't have to run up the whole stairs," Jieun exclaimed as the doors finally closed shut.
"What happened?" She asked, handing her a handkerchief to wipe the sweat off her forehead. Jieun gratefully accepted it with a smile as she replied, "My car broke down."
It wasn't until later when she was finally able to catch her breath did she notice the other presence in the elevator. Seokjin smiled in greeting as she finally saw him. "Tiens! Lee Ji Eun-ssi, right?"
Jieun beamed at the greeting, "Right. I didn't expect you to remember my name, Seokjin-ssi."
"How can I not remember the name of such a fine-memorable lady as you, Jieun-ssi. Of course, I do remember."
Jieun seemed pleased with the reply though the girl next to her was not. Seokjin watched as the former girl eyed the latter with a scowl and he smiled, feeling entertained. "Are you a vegetable?"
Jaehwa's eyes snapped back to him with a frown, "What?"
"Cause if you were, you'd be a cute-cumber," Seokjin's eyes drifted back to Jieun's. "Lee Jieun-ssi."
Jieun laughed delightedly at the compliment and Jaehwa did not fail to notice the slight pink that had infused her cheeks. She gave a sharp nudge to her side and shot a warning glare at her best friend who promptly ignored her.
"You seem a little down today, Ms.Han. Did something happen?" Seokjin questioned, smirking at the girl.
"It's nothing. Just some annoying prick had to ruin my day." She gritted out sarcastically.
"Ah... is that so? Don't worry Ms.Han. I know exactly what can make your day."
"No, you don't."
"I do. Now, tell me. How does a cow laugh?" He asked, holding a fist to her mouth as if it were a mic. To no one's surprise, he got nothing except for the disgusted look in return. He took back the imaginary mic and cried, "Like this. MOO-HAHAhahaha!"
There was no reaction except for the slight snickers of her friend which abruptly shut down when she pressed down on her feet. Jieun shot her a glare cursing under her breath as she winced in pain. Seokjin wasn't done though.
"Wanna hear a chemistry joke?"
"Is it sodium funny?" Jieun excitedly piped from the side. He shook his head miserably.
"No... Actually, I don't even think I'll get a reaction."
The youngest of the group squeaked at the unexpected comeback and burst into a fit of laughter along with Jin.
A soft melodious ding sounded as the elevator stopped at the 7th floor for Seokjin. Jaehwa cracked her knuckles threateningly, smiling a saccharine smile at her friend as Jin prepared to step out on his floor. Just you wait Jieun. You are not getting away. Jieun caught on to what she was thinking. She was not willing to risk it.
"Jin-ssi. I think I'll get off here. I don't feel safe anymore."
"Sure. Ladies first," He offered, stepping aside as she thanked him and ran out into the hallway. He chuckled at the scene as he stepped out of the elevator. "Ah, I forgot." He murmured as he turned back to Jaehwa, "Do you know idol Park Jimin?"
She folded her hands, "What about him?"
"He is far far far faaaaar better than Taehyung. Hmph!"
Seokjin whirled around and walked off with a smirk leaving Jaehwa open-mouthed.
...
"H-HE JUST DID NOT!"
