Jaehwa jabbed a finger at the infuriating man who eyed her, failing to hide his amusement.

"You tricked me!"

She cried not caring whether she was being unprofessional or not in a professional environment. Seokjin only shot her a sly smile before continuing to walk off to wherever he was going, infuriating her even more. She followed him, "I really thought something was wrong with you! I believed you!"

He paused and suddenly whirled around.

"You actually believed me? Oh la la, comme elle est mignonne!" Seokjin cooed. "Was I that good? I knew I was a great actor, but really?"

He took a step forward and bringing a hand against his mouth he leaned forward to her ear, "What do you say? Do you think I'll get an Oscar if I went to Hollywood?"

"Seokjin, you!"

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Seokjin burst out laughing clutching his stomach, clearly enjoying her frustration. Wiping non-existent tears away from his face, he began, "I can't believe it was this easy to take him out. Ahhh, he really is not the brightest person in the world."

"What?"

Seokjin put on his most condescending smile, "You see. Your boss is an idiot. Oblivious. So stuck up in his own world that he doesn't even realize that you're the actual player of his game. Whether it's directly or not, without you, he's not all that.

"So all I had to do was get rid of Sahan's ace card. You." He pointed a finger at her face, "You were the only challenge in my equation, but there was no way I could make you leave him. You are too... what was that word again? Ah! Loyal."

Jaehwa sneered but Jin wasn't looking. He was caught up in his own explanation of how he came up with the plan.

"So I used my extraordinary, smart and intelligent brain to think of an idea, and as usual, it didn't disappoint me." Seokjin held out his hands as if he were presenting himself. "All I had to do was get you out of the way and bam! Easy."

Suddenly, bringing his hand to his chest he morphed his face to that of gratitude, "So thanks for looking after me yesterday. You are actually nice! Nothing like I've ever seen before. You were so gentle and caring that I almost felt sorry for you." Seokjin stated, his expression of gratitude turning into a smirk as he repeated with a wink, "Almost."

"You-you!" Jaehwa began to grit out, trying to find an appropriate threat.

"What?" Seokjin shrugged, raising an eyebrow at her before he suddenly turned serious and took a step so close to her that he had to look down to see her face, "You thought you were the only one who could get dirty? Two can play at the game Jaehwa."

Jaehwa glared back, not having an appropriate response. She couldn't say anything to him. However, that did not mean she'd back down from his stare. He was trying to intimidate her. She knew it.

"I will get you back for this!" Jaehwa took another step forward, coming even closer to him, strengthening her glare to a max. She will not get intimidated by him. She was not afraid.

He seemed amused at her reaction, but he was not going to back out either. Let's see who wins the game.

It must have been a few seconds or so, neither of them had backed down. The game was getting intense and the tension in the room was palpable.

Slowly, Seokjin brought up his hand and touched the tip of her nose.

"Boop!"

"Wh-wha... D-did you just-"

"Oh my!"

The loud exclamation of a third unfamiliar voice snapped their heads to the entrance of the room. The man who had interrupted them seemed highly flustered as he suddenly waved his hand in front of him, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt. I-I didn't see anything. Y-you guys may continue. Oh, there should be a restroom downstairs..." The man stuttered out before he quickly slipped out of there.

Jaehwa frowned. Restroom? She suddenly whirled her head around and examined her surroundings. Jaehwa gasped. It was a restroom. In her haste to give Seokjin a piece of her mind, she hadn't looked where she was going and had simply followed him in there.

Seokjin suddenly gasped as he brought his hand against his mouth.

"What are you doing inside the men's restroom, Ms.Han? How scandalous!" Jaehwa looked back at him, her jaw hanging open in surprise. "I- I..."

"Are you secretly a pervert, Ms.Han?"

"N-no!" She squeaked out before she regained her common sense and quickly rushed out of there.
"Au revoir mon amour, see you later!" Seokjin called out from behind and the last thing she heard before she rushed out was his devious laughter squeakily resonating from there.

Jaehwa reluctantly walked up to his Sahan's desk biting her lower lip in anticipation. Sahan remained unaware of her presence, eyes trained on some official papers. Or if he did notice her presence, he did not let it show.

"Ahem." She cleared her throat softly. Sahan did not turn his head, instead, he rolled his eyes to where she was standing without a word. Jaehwa waited for some kind of response or a question from him. All she got in return was his silence. Sighing out loudly, she clasped her hands together. "I'm so sorry! I'm really sorry. I didn't mean any of that. I take all of it back."

He turned to look at her but he did not respond, seemingly unsatisfied with her apologies.

"I'm sorry. I regret all of that. I really do. I'm really, really, really sorry. Please don't fire me."

She looked to her boss with the most pitiful expression she could muster batting her eyelashes innocently at him.

Though Sahan couldn't say he wasn't amused at her childish apology act, he did not let that show.

"Please..." Jaehwa tried one last time.

He fixed her with a contemplative gaze, seemingly pondering over whether he should forgive her or not. Jaehwa widened her eyes even more and fixed him with a pitiful look. With a final exasperated sigh, he replied. "Fine."

"Really?" She yelled, not quite believing her ears.

"Yeah."

"Woohoo!" Jaehwa fist pumped the air with a loud cry before she realized she was with her boss and fist-pumping does not exactly fit into the description of professionalism. She suddenly straightened up. Clearing her throat, she dramatically declared. "Thank you, sir. From now on, I will try my best! I will do anything you ask me to do, except for... some things, BUT I will do anything to get you the company, sir! I will fight by your side until the end. That's a promise."

Sahan couldn't quite control his facial expression a second time. He cracked a small smile as he went back to his business, "Alright."

"I'll take my leave now." Jaehwa proudly proclaimed.

"As you wish."
