Jaehwa was being smothered against his chest, the material of his shirt blocking out the light and the air flow. Too stunned to respond, she went deadly still, surprised at what he had done. Seokjin cried a triumphant cry as he finally managed to pry the phone out of her hand. "Ha!" Navigating to the options, he deleted the picture of his ugly self and let out a long relieved sigh. Finally smiling in triumph, he looked towards his captive. "Did you seriously think you could escape..."

Seokjin's voice faded into a whisper as his eyes locked into hers and the reality of what he had done set in. His smile slowly dropped as his eyes lingered on her shocked visage.

Quickly, he released her and stepped away. "I- uh... I'm sorry I didn't mean to...mean to do that."

Too shocked at what had happened, she didn't respond. How come the air suddenly felt hot? She was sure, just mere seconds ago she was shivering in the cold. All of a sudden, the vast wide building felt suffocating. Without a word, she snatched her phone back from him and walked away.

She didn't care if she won the game or got the penalty. She just wanted to go back. The place felt too suffocating and she found herself breathing in tiny gasps. What just happened?

Did that really just happen?

Jaehwa didn't even know why she was reacting the way she was. She felt confused. Something just felt different. In a daze, she climbed down the staircase to the lower levels when she felt a hand hesitantly tug at her wrist. Fading back to reality, she looked to the owner of the hand who had concern etched all over her face. "A-are you okay?"

Weakly, she nodded trying to tug her hand away from his. His grip tightened and he looked as if he wanted to say something more but he closed his mouth. Looking around the place as he awkwardly scratched the nape of his neck, he asked. "Can I come with you? This place is hella creepy."

That did the trick. A smug smile lit up on her face. So that's what he was concerned about. He was such a scaredy-cat! Smiling deviously, she held her nose higher in the air as she spoke, arrogance literally oozing from her tone. "Alright. You can come along."

Tugging her hands away from him, she turned around. Flipping a part of her hair over her shoulders so that hit him in the face, she descended the stairs. Seokjin winced rapidly blinking as her hair hit him in the face and he scowled at the back of her head as Jaehwa proudly made her way down the stairs. "Are you afraid of the ghosts, Jinnie?"

Seokjin didn't deem the question worthy of a reply. Instead, he posed a question of his own. "Aren't you afraid of them?"

"Ghosts don't exist," Jaehwa stated before she unexpectedly paused, "But." Dramatically swishing her dress, she turned to face him who stood a step above her. "Serial killers do."

Smiling ominously, she narrated, "And they reside in dark and abandoned buildings like this, waiting for their prey.

"Unsuspecting strangers like us would venture into these places unaware of the dangers that lurk in the darkest of corners." She whispered leaning forward to his face as he drew back, eyes slowly widening as the effect of her narration set in. Jaehwa internally smirked as she saw the fear shine through his eyes.

"And when you least expect it," She whispered waving her hands around for emphasis, "They come out of their corners and- BOO!"

"Aaaagh!" Jin flinched in terror. Losing his footing in the steps he crumbled down on the stairs, scared eyes watching the cackling witch as she laughed her head off.

"Ah, seriously?" He screeched springing up from the step as he mentally cursed at himself for being so gullible.

"Hahahaha- I- I can't believe you fell for that- ahahaha..." Jaehwa continued to laugh as she resumed her descent. The look on his face was just too funny! He looked completely ridiculous!

Maybe she had been laughing too much or maybe she was focused too much on the mental image playing in her head that she misstepped a step and lost her footing.

"Aaaargh!" Jaehwa cried out as the ground rushed up to meet her. Oh my god, I'm going to die!!!!

"AAAAAhhhh..." Today was the day she was going to die and this time there will be no escape. Goodbye cruel world! She squeezed her eyes shut waiting for the painful impact of the floor. Any moment now. Any moment... Any moment...

The impact never came.

Gingerly, she opened her eyes to find herself suspended in the steps mid-fall. She felt an arm around her. It was deja vu all over again. She had been in the same situation again. Suddenly regaining her common sense that she had momentarily lost from the fear. She straightened up, regaining her balance. Ahhh embarrassing. He's certainly going to make fun of me.

It was the second time she was getting saved from crushing her nose by Seokjin and Jaehwa, though a little grateful, wasn't ready to handle his teasing or that smug grin. Wincing she turned to face him to express her thanks expecting an infuriating remark from him. However, she was surprised to see that he didn't have a cocky smile on his face. Instead, he looked angry.

"God, Jaehwa don't you know how to walk properly? Why do you keep losing your balance? Can't you open your eyes and look where you are going?" He asked rhetorically, raising his voice with each word.

"I- I'm sorry. I-it was an accident." Jaehwa didn't know why she was apologizing but he looked so angry she was not ready to cross him.

"Accident? What would have happened if I wasn't there? You would have fallen down and got hurt, or worse you could have broken your neck! Just why are you so clumsy?"
She was speechless. What's with him?

"You're so reckless that you-"

"OKAY, okay!" She cut him off, "Fine. You're right. But why are you yelling at me?"

He seemed momentarily taken aback by her question. He opened and closed his mouth like a fish unable to find a response as she stood there waiting for an answer.

"B-because!"

Oh, she was annoyed now alright? How dare he yell at her and say because when she asked for a reason. How dare he?! Pushing him away, she cried. "Come down on your own jerk!"

Before he could say anything or catch up to her, Jaehwa stomped down the stairs pouting like an angry baby and ran out of the building.
