"Thanks for inviting me for lunch, Hoseok. It was fun."
Jieun remarked as she walked beside Jung Hoseok, her co-worker and now a close friend. Last few weeks Hoseok had grown quite close to her, so much so that she could call him by his name without the honorifics. Hoseok was a kind and spirited soul. He was the kind of person who could lift your mood with a single bright smile and Jieun felt as if that was something she had needed for a while. He shook his head with a smile. "Don't mention it Jieun. I like hanging out with you."
Jieun smiled, "Still."
"I'm telling you it's alright!" Hoseok exclaimed, his voice rising in enthusiasm. "I don't hang out much with the other guys anyway." Jieun narrowed her eyes. The last statement didn't feel like the truth, nevertheless, she shrugged and went along with it.
"We've got about fifteen minutes. Wanna go somewhere else?" He asked, suddenly bouncing about. Something about his bouncy personality reminded Jieun of a golden retriever. Playful and enthusiastic. Jieun smiled at the thought. She was about to reply when a female screech reached their ears.
"You guys!"
The duo turned around surprised by the exclamation only to find a very infuriated Jaehwa who appeared as if she were on the verge of tears.
"You guys went for lunch and didn't invite me?"
Hoseok's eyes widened as Jieun's eyes narrowed. Marching up to Jieun, Jaehwa grabbed her collars and shook her. "How could you do this to me? I thought you were my best friend!" Jaehwa cried melodramatically and Jieun was surprised to find real tears rolling down her cheeks. Jaehwa whirled her head around to Hoseok, " And Hoseok-ssi, you too? I thought you were a nice person!"
Hoseok's jaw hung open as he saw Jaehwas' eyes that glittered with actual tears and he looked around nervously, feeling quite guilty about the accusation she had made. Jaehwa threw herself on her best friend. "How could you betray me like this?!" She cried.
Jieun patted her friend's back consolingly, seemingly unfazed by her behavior. "I'm sorry. I thought you were going to be with Mr.Min Sahan. By the way, where is he?"
"Sahan? Don't even mention his name!" Jaehwa ordered. "How could you Jieun, how could you? I am never talking to you again!!" She continued to bawl as she clung onto her best friend, who was giving her slight pats on the back as she replied, "Sure, sure."
"Don't talk to me again," Jaehwa ordered still not letting go of Jieun who rolled her eyes at her friend's antics. "Yeah, sure."
Jieun made an apologetic look at Hoseok who was watching the scene with concern as she spoke to Jaehwa. "You can join us now if you want."
"Can I?" Jaehwa whimpered, pitifully from her shoulders.
"Yeah." She replied soon after which she mouthed to Hoseok I'm sorry.
Hoseok immediately shook his head and pointed at the back of Jaehwa as he mouthed back, 'Is she okay?'
Jieun shrugged. She didn't know what was going on with her friend and the idiot of her friend wouldn't even open up to her. It was truly frustrating. Jieun slowly led Jaehwa away from there with Hoseok in tow.

"Yoongi-ah."
Seokjin called as soon as he entered the office of his friend who hadn't moved away from his spot near the computer, still vigorously typing away at it. A huge stack of papers was on the desk beside him. The navy blue necktie round his neck was loosened and the topmost button of his shirt was undone. His hair was a mess and numerous soda cans sat near the desk. There were dark circles around his eyes but it still glimmered with a certain determination as he typed away on his computer. That workaholic was at it once again.
