   It was that time of the night when I go for a ride,I've been doing this for years now. I live with my Dad who is an alcohol addict and also really aggressive, we fight every day,I'm so sick of him but I have to put up with his insanity just for a while__well there's a story behind that.

    After every fight,I take my bicycle and ride far from home where I can get the wind in my hair and clear my thoughts,it helps alot.

    I just had a fight with my Dad like 'always' and as I got pissed off,I took my bicycle and was about to get on it when I sighted my neighbor. She's really pretty I must confess,she seems timid......well I'd just shake her up a bit and see where it goes. I hope my ruined mood didn't spoil the look on my face,I don't want her to notice. She's still new in the neighborhood, she shouldn't be thinking I have some problems and start feeling sad for me,that won't be cool.

    So I took in a deep breathe and put on a smile as I walked up to her,I thought of a pretty name which some weird girls find annoying and there it was 'Princess'. I called her that and she just stared at me like she wanted to devour me or something, I started with the introduction part and it just seemed like she wasn't even listening...... OK she's weird!

      When she told me her name,I remembered when she introduced herself in class, a part of me was listening but I was thinking about some deep shi* that happened back home. I just bowed my head in class not to invite cause for concern.

     "I'm Tania.......Tania Woods"

  Her name is pretty just like her,well to the part of shaking her up,I kissed her hands lightly and all the expressions on her face showed she had goosebumps that moment.

   After we talked and got to the part of riding on a bicycle, I suddenly wanted to ride with someone and it wouldn't be bad if it could be her. I just need to ask her if she'd be interested, so as not to get my hopes high.

"Would you love to go on a ride with me tomorrow night?"

       OK I don't know why I was getting too excited and nervous at his request. Should I say yes? Of course,I wanna say yes.

   "Uhm.....sure......why not"

  "So tomorrow then......promise?"

  "Of course I promise,you know the saying that__promise should be kept and broken"

   I had this weird feeling that I just said 'nonsense',I'm sure I didn't say that correctly,I hope he doesn't notice. But then he started laughing, gosh this is humiliating!

   "The saying is actually__A promise is to be kept and not broken,don't break yours,goodnight princess!" He said as he rode off on his bicycle.

    I was supposed to feel more humiliated at the correction,but I felt something different as he rode off l,he looked dashing while riding,if fallen angels lived among us then I just met one. I kept staring till he was out of sight then I went back inside.

    Dad was deeply asleep on the couch,I covered him with a blanket and checked the surroundings if everything was in place and off to my room,I called it a night.

   Before going to bed,I kept taking sneak peeks at Adrian's window,his room lights were not turned on_seems he wasn't back home yet.

   "A Promise is to be kept and not broken"__I laughed to myself when I remembered what I uttered instead,Adrian must have wondered what a fish brain I was.

   I think I'll be very late to school today,Dad's car developed a fault and he has been trying to fix it for a hour now,nothing has worked. In this part where we live,you'd walk for miles before seeing a mechanic.

   I sat down on the front porch sighing every minute in frustration. If only I could go back to bed but it was a big NO,Dad preferred I sit where he could stare at me all day long.

   In the next compound,Mr.angel face was just about to leave for school, he seemed moody and didnt seem happy,as he was about to get on the bicycle ,our eyes met and then he dropped the bicycle and started walking toward my house.

    Oh no! What was he doing or about to do??!!

  " Hello Mr Woods" Adrian said as he greeted my Dad when he got to out house.

  "Hello there........" Dad said as he didn't know his name.

   "The name's Adrian, I live in the next house"

  "Oh my apologies, I'm sorry I haven't come to say hi since I moved in, I've been really busy" Dad said.

   "Its cool"

  "Meet my daughter,Tania__ Tania come here"

   Oh no! I don't like this part,this morning couldn't get any worse, must he call me,can't he pretend like I'm not there. Aarghh here I go!!.
