A/N: I do my best writing when I listen to Alicks, just thought I'd put that out there.

Sage.

October 17, 2018.

I wake up to a soft finger stroking my cheek. Before even opening my eyes, a smile pulls at my lips. "Morning beautiful," Billie's raspy voice speaks.

"Mmorining," I yawn, stretching my legs before finally blinking my eyes open.

"You're cute when you sleep," she smirks, staring into my eyes while tracing the features of my face.

"Doubt it," I giggle. Our eyes meet and I can't shake the butterflies erupting my stomach, the feeling of everything I'll ever want or need laying in front of me, staring at me with the same look in her eyes.

"Sage?" She questions seriously.

"Yeah?"

She bits her bottom lip for a second, her eyes glancing down at my lips before they meet my eyes again, "Be mine?" She whispers. "Be my girlfriend?"

"Are you serious?"

"No I'm just playing," she laughs sarcastically, "yes I'm serious!"

"Yes," I smile, probably looking like a clown. She leans forward, attaching her lips to mine for a split second, then pulling away, and doing it again over and over again until I begin to giggle and pull her in completely. Both of us smiling into the kiss.

After a few minutes, we pull away, both catching our breath. "So, what do you all have to do today?" I question her.

"Actually, nothing," she smiles contently.

"Want to watch 'The Office'?" I ask with a smirk, knowing she will say yes. Just as I suspected, she nods her head eagerly, grabbing the laptop from my nightstand. After she chooses an episode she places the laptop on our legs and pulls me into her, my head resting on her chest where I can hear her heartbeat perfectly.

"Wait," she pauses the show after not even one minute into it, "are you hungry? Let's get some food!"

"Actually, I'm like hardcore craving burritos and peanuts," I exclaim.

"The fuck?" She gives me a goofy look.

"I don't know okay," I laugh. She shrugs her shoulders, pulling out her phone and ordering us some food.

-

We both hear a knock on the door and I hit the space button to pause the show. "I'll get it," Billie stands up, causing me to frown at the lack of contact. I watch as she opens up the door, a guy in a 'PostMates' hat standing at the other side of the door.

"Holy shit," his eyes light up, clearly he recognizes Billie. "Do you live here?" He asks.

"No," Billie chuckles, grabbing the bags he hands to her. He scans my apartment before smiling at me, then smiling at Billie and leaving after she thanks him. Billie closes and locks the door before climbing back on the bed.

"I probably should have answered that," I admit. It felt odd.

"Nah," she shrugs as she pulls the food out of the bag.

Once we devour our food we lay in our previous position, continuing to binge watch Billie's favourite show. After about an hour of laughing, mostly due to how contagious Billie's laugh is, I get a sudden wave of dizziness and nausea. I sit up straight, a little too fast, causing the dizziness to worsen. Crossing my legs and leaning my head on my hand, I try to ground myself.

"Hey, it's okay," Billie assures me, pausing the show and laying a hand on my back. Before I can respond I run to my bathroom, lock the door and hurl up all the food that I ate earlier.

"You good?" She asks, moments after. Truth is, right after I threw up, I did feel better. This isn't a panic attack, just a weird wave of sickness that I've been getting recently.

"Y-yeah," I stutter, shakily flushing the toilet and grabbing my toothbrush. After cleaning myself up, I slowly open the door to see a very concerned-looking Billie.

"You sure? You've been getting really sick lately," she frowns.

"Probably all the taco bell you've been feeding me lately," I joke. Although I am a little concerned, I don't want her to worry about me.

"Babe," she says seriously, "Maybe you should see a doctor."

"No," I shake my head, "let's go finish the episode," I shrug it off, not wanting to dwell on it. I have my concerns as to what it could be, but I'm too afraid to find out for sure. Plus, I don't like hospitals.

"Okay," she hesitates but joins me back on the bed.

-

My eyes squint open, realizing I'm not laying on Billie anymore. Looking around the room, Billie isn't anywhere. I lazily walk over to the bathroom but she isn't in there either, then I hear her voice from the hallway. She sounds...mad?

I don't mean to eavesdrop, but I can hear her perfectly.

"The fuck you mean?" She practically shouts. There's a moment of silence before she speaks again "No, no, I just don't want her around, okay?"

...

"Yeah...okay, fine," she sighs. I then decide to stop listening and make my way back to the bed. Was she talking about me? Does she not want me around anymore? I knew it would end this way.

"Hey, sorry baby. Did I wake you?" Billie walks into the apartment, looking a little exhausted and concerned.

"No, not at all," I shake my head.

"Want to bake some cookies? I want cookies."

"You're random, but sure," I chuckle, trying to ignore what I heard.

A/N: Fun fact, I hate the word 'goofy' but I used it in this chapter...smh.
