Billie.September 12, 2018.
I was scrolling through my phone beside Sage when I heard soft breathing coming from her. I glanced at her and couldn't help but smile. She looked so peaceful and content, like anything bad in the world had escaped her body and she had no worry in the world.
It was hard to take my eyes off of her but when her phone started ringing abruptly I tore my eyes away and looked back at my phone as I heard her grumble in annoyance.
"Hello?" She answered the phone in a sleepy voice, immediately putting a smile on my face again.
"Umm, yeah sure," she sighed. I looked her way and saw a face of distress which made me worry.
"Yeah yeah, I'll be there. Bye," she hung up, throwing her phone beside her and laying down with a huff, running her hands over her face.
"What's wrong?" I wondered out loud.
"Nothing," she planted a fake smile on her face, "Just another studio session tomorrow."
"Don't overwork yourself," I stressed, "Trust me, you can burn out fast in this industry," I gently swiped a piece of hair out of her face as she stared at the ceiling. Even though she wasn't looking at me, I could tell she was blushing slightly.
"Yeah," she nodded, "So I'm awake now, what do you want to do?" Her whole demeanour changed when she made eye contact with me.
"Well, I can hear your stomach growling so how about I order that food now?"
"That'd be great," she smiled. I quickly ordered some food before putting my phone away and laid back down on my side, facing her as she did the same.
"So, how about we play 21 Questions again, but this time I'll ask you?" She proposed with a cute smirk on her pink lips.
"Bet," I nodded, so ready to get to know each other even more.
"Hmmm..." she thought, "Okay, what's your favourite color?" she asked excitedly.
"You have 21 questions and that's one of them?" I laughed, making fun of her basic ass question.
"Shut up and answer the question," she giggled, playfully pushing me back.
"Okay okay, probably bright green," I chuckled.
"What about your favourite food?"
"Favourite food my ass, these are lame. Get a little frisky!"
"Billie!" she practically squealed, "I don't have any frisky questions, you go!"
"Okay," I chuckled trying to think of a good question. I now know why she has marks on her wrist and why her fridge is so empty but I don't know if she's into girls. I guess now is my chance.
"Have you ever slept with a girl?"
She immediately burst out laughing, causing my face to turn red. Was that a stupid question?
"I've only been with girls," she covered the bottom half of her face with the blanket so I could only see her eyes.
"You're gay?" I asked just to be sure.
"Mhmm," she nodded her head.
"Great, I'll remember that," I winked witch caused her to fully hide her face behind the blanket. Fuck, she's so cute! "Don't be shy," I teased, slowly pulling the blanket down from her face. She didn't say anything in response but attempted to look anywhere other than my eyes.
"Okay so, whens the last time you got head?"
"BILLIEEEE," she shouted high-pitched making me chuckle.
"What? It's a valid question," I stared at her waiting for an answer. She rolled her eyes before looking at the wall, seemingly deep in thought.
"I think it's been about six months," she admitted.
"Lord, you must be dying," I exaggerated, making her chuckle softly.
"Sorta," she shrugged.
"Have you ever used a strap?"
"Okay, I'm done with this game," she shook her head and sat up straight.
"Oh come on," I laughed, sitting up as well.
"Nah, It's my turn again," she smirked.
"Go right ahead," I gestured my hand like I was leading her somewhere.
"Have you been with a girl?" She asked, sounding almost nervous about my answer.
"A couple of times," I answered truthfully.
"Did you like it?"
"Yeah, It's a totally different vibe with a guy but fuuck," I rolled my eyes to the back of my head for a second, "Being with a girl hits so different."
She dropped her head into her hand with a shy smile just as the doorbell rang. "I'll be back," I announced before hopping out of bed and answering the door. A girl with dark long hair and a postmates hats stood there. She handed me the food and I thanked her before walking back to my room, finding Sage on her phone.
We both ate our meals while watching a show on my laptop. Once we were finished I walked to the kitchen to throw out our trash. I glanced at the clock, realizing that it was already 11 pm.
"I'm full and sleepy," Sage yawned as I walked back into the room.
"Sleepy?" I smirked at her.
"Yeah?" She questioned.
"I don't know, It's a cute word," I shook my head and turned around to dig through my dresser. I found two oversized shirts and threw one at her.
"HEY," she shouted.
"Relax, it's a shirt," I chuckled. This girl makes me smile so much it's scary.
"Bathroom is across the hall and I'm pretty sure there's an extra toothbrush in the top drawer under the sink," I explained to her.
"Thanks," she smiled and stood up, her movements paused before she fully left the room, "Miss. Eilish?" She questioned.
"Yes?"
"Do you have spare pants for me or?"
"Yeah," I answered while pulling out my smallest pair of sweatpants and handed them to her. I watched her as she walked out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. I took this time to change and grab an extra pillow.
"What are you doing?" She asked, coming out of the bathroom. Seeing her fully dressed in my clothes made my knees weak, I couldn't tell you why, but it did.
"Grabbing an extra pillow so I can go sleep in the living room," I explained.
"Oh," she nodded, throwing her clothes to my floor. "Goodnight," she yawned.
"Goodnight Sage," I left the room and threw my pillow on my parents' bed. Everything in me wanted to go cuddle her but I knew it wasn't respectful unless she wanted me to. I sighed before climbing under the covers and laying down.
A few minutes after scrolling through my phone I heard footsteps coming my way. "Billie?" Sage whispered.
"Yeah?"
"This might be weird but...C-can I sleep with you?"
"Of course," I smiled. I felt the bed dip before her body warmth hit me. I turned on my side and gently wrapped my arm around her. "Is this okay?" I whispered.
"More than okay."
