April 1st, 2019. Three months later.

"The power couple taking over the world, Billie Eilish and Sage Carson will be performing today in..."

"We're taking over the world baby," Billie chuckles, turning the radio down.

"Apparently," I laugh.

"You excited?"

"Yeah, but also hella nervous. I've never performed in front of this many people."

"The lights will be so bright you won't even be able to see them, and they're only here to see me anyway," she joked, putting the car into park as I hit her playfully.

So, Billie decided to have me open for her on her entire world tour and I couldn't be more excited...Nervous but excited nonetheless. It means the world to me that she not only loves me but she enjoys my music enough to have me open for her. I mean... opening for Billie Eilish? That shit's crazy!

We walk inside, hand in hand through the back doors where there are a few paparazzi snapping photos. Once inside we get whisked away for hair and makeup, then change into our outfits for the show.

Not gonna lie, my hands are shaking the whole time but Finneas and Claudia have been goofing around, running around the room which has been a great distraction from what's about to come.

"Billie, the meet and greet starts in 10," one of the team members says just as Billie laid down on the couch in the green room.

"Okay," she nods, holding out her arms towards me. I walk up to her, laying on top of her as we are now alone in the room. "You doing okay?" She whispers, swiping a piece of hair out of my face.

"Yeah," I nod, leaning down to press her lips against mine.

"I love you," she mumbles into the kiss.

"I love you," I breathe out, nuzzling my head into the crook of her neck. She kisses the top of my head softly.

"I should go," I'll be back here just before you go on, okay?"

"Okay," I comply, getting off of her so she can head to the meet and greet. She gives me one last kiss before leaving the room and I pick up my phone, scrolling through texts from Aria and Sierra just as there's a loud knock on the door. "Come in."

My eyes go wide when I see my entire family walk in, along with Aria and Sierra. My people are all here. "What are you all doing here?" I exclaim, hoping up to engulf them all in bone-crushing hugs.

"Sage, we're so proud of you," my mom smiles, a tear rolling down her cheek.

"You've come so extremely far in just a few months. Look at you!" My dad gushes.

"Don't make me cry, I'm wearing mascara," I swipe away a single tear and my dad holds me close once again. We all talk and chat and make jokes. I'm so glad to have everyone here and I completely lose track of time when Billie walks into the room. Everyone greets Billie and gives her hugs.

"Sage, you're on in five," Billie tells me.

"Shit, for real?" I panic, feeling a lump grow in my throat. Billie places her hands on my cheeks, making me look into her eyes.

"You are going to be amazing. Pretend it's just me and you alone in a room, no one else watching. You've performed before, it's the same thing, you got this," she calms me down.

I nod my head, taking her hands in mine. "We gotta go find our spots. Good luck Sage," Paisley says as everyone except Billie leaves the room.

"Where's Finneas?" I ask.
