Chapter twenty-nine.

"Uncle Redd, can you come with me?" Tommy asked as he sat down to chair in waiting room.
"Uh... Sure, I can." the kitsune chuckled, as he ruffled the little tanuki's hair. "But I need to call Nooksie, he said he would like to be in too."

The little one nodded. "Why he didn't come here-here..?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.

Redd sat next to him. "He has to work, but he does love you a lot." he told. "Hm... Do you wanna talk with him, before you're called in?"

"That... That would be nice, yes." the boy told giving little smile. The kitsune flicked his tail as he took his phone from his pocket. "Just one second." he told.

Redd needed to wait for a moment before he heard Tom's voice end of the call. "Redd, how are you? Is something wrong with Tommy?" he asked.

"Wow, no hello?" he asked. "And we are fine, but Tomtom wants to talk to ya." he told with soft chuckle.

"I'm gonna give my phone to him, I'll hear that sweet voice of yours little later~" he added. He let out soft chuckle as the boy gave gentle nudge to his arm. He gave the phone to him.

"Uncle Tom..?" Tommy asked as he placed the phone to his ear.
Redd listened as the little one talked with the older one. His ears pricked up when door opened. He looked up to man who stepped to the hall.

He had cat ears and tail, dark skin and green eyes. And black hair.
"Ohno..." the kitsune muttered, as he moved his gaze from the man.

Tommy flicked his ears slightly, he looked over to the man. He said good bye to his uncle, before he shut the call. He got up. "Sam!" he chimed giving the phone back to Redd.
"Tommy, so nice to see you again." the cat chuckled softly.

The kitsune blinked in suprise. Wait...
"Hold on, you two know each other?" he asked getting up from the chair, slipping his phone to his pocket.

"Ohmy, if it isn't Redd! Haven't heard form you for a while!" Sam took Redd's hand to his own. "I can not believe this, it has been, what? Seven, six, years?"

"Yeh, somethin' like that." Redd chuckled, letting the cat's hand go. "So, uh... You are little Tom's doctor, eh?" he asked.

"Yes, and you are..?" Sam asked, tilting his head slightly.
"He's my uncle Redd." Tommy said, giving his tail little wag.
"Uncle Redd, huh?"

Redd flicked his tail gently. "Yeh..." he murmured rubbing his back of the neck.

"But! I guess we could talk little later. We are here because Tomtom." he added, ruffling the little one's hair.

"Oh right, I should get Nooksie here too. Just a second." he chuckled taking his phone.

"May I ask, why Mr. Nook didn't come here?" Sam asked.
"He has work to do, busy man, ya know." the kitsune answered, before he called back to the tanuki.

"I understand, but we can go inside while we wait Mr. Nook." Sam told, letting Tommy, and Redd, in the room. Redd nodded, as he went inside, Tommy following him.

"I think that's all." Sam told, as he got up. "Thank you Mr. Nook."
"Yes, thank you, and I am sorry for not being there."

"No problem," he chuckled softly. "Everything is fine, this worked well. But next time, if there is need, it would be nice if you would be here too." he added, as he handed some papers to the kitsune.

"Yes, of course. But I need to go now, I am sorry." Tom told. "But Redd, remember be in time. And remember feed Tommy while you two are away." he added.

The kitsune flicked his tail gently. "Yeh, I can do that. I am an adult after all." he told, picking up his phone from the table. "I hope so." the tanuki sighed softly.

Redd chuckled softly as he shut the speaker. "Hey Nookie, love ya~" he told, before he ended the call.

"So, Sammy, do you have next appointment right away, or do ya have time to catch up?" he asked.

Sam blinked. "Don't call me that." he told. "But I have, hm..." He checked the time. "I have fifteen minutes." he said.

The little tanuki tilted his head slightly. "Uncle Redd, how you know Sam?" he asked quietly.

"Right. I met him, uh, years ago. But hey, why don't you go to hall? I'll see ya soon." the kitsune told. "If you want, you can play somethin' on my phone." he added as he gave his phone to the little one.

"Okay." Tommy gave little nod, taking Redd's phone. He left the room, closing the door behind him.

"So, where to start?" the kitsune asked, with little chuckle.
