Chapter sixty-four.

Tom let out soft sigh as he opened the door to his house. He twitched his ears slightly, silence. "Redd?" he called, nothing.

He sighed again, as he pulled his phone from his pocket. He called to the kitsune. He needed to wait for a moment before he heard his voice.

"Hiii! Miss me?" the kitsune purred. The tanuki rolled his eyes slightly. "Not really, I am home, where are you?" he asked.

"Oh? Is it three already?" Redd asked. "I'm sorry, I'm still workin', ya know, work is important all that." he snickered.

"I'll just clean up, or you can come here, and we can eat noodles." he added.

Tom twitched his ears slightly. "Well, that isn't so bad idea. See you in few minutes." he told, as he ended the call.

He stepped outside, closing the door behind him. He walked down the path to Redd's house. He gave slight knock to the door, before he opened the door.

The tanuki stepped in, and removed his shoes. He went over to closed door, and gave knock to it. "Come in!" He opened the door and stepped in to the room.

"Hiii! I'll just quickly finish this." the kitsune told as he took glance of his boyfriend. "Look around, but no touchin'!" he added.

Tom shook his head slightly. "I thought you said you are going to just clean up." he told, as he eyed painting. The kitsune took glance of him. "Yeh, but you decided to come here." he told.

He nodded. "I guess so." he hummed softly as he took look of another painting.

After a while the kitsune stood up. He wiped his hands to his apron. "I'm done!" he told with soft chuckle, as he took his apron off.

The tanuki twitched his ears slightly as he looked over to him. "That's nice to hear. You need to wash your hands." he told, as he went over to the kitsune.

He wiped the kitsune's cheek gently. "You really are messy painter." he chuckled, as he gave gentle kiss on his cheek.

The kitsune smirked, he smeared some paint off his fingers to the tanuki's nose. "That shade looks good on ya." he snickered, as he left the room.

Tom blinked. He chuckled softly shaking his head slightly, as he followed behind the kitsune to the bathroom.

Redd washed his hands. "While you wash your little nose, I'll make noodles for us." he said with slight smirk, as he gave quick kiss on Tom's cheek.

He left the bathroom and went to the kitchen. He took two bowls from the cabinet, and two packages of instant noodles.

Tom let out soft sigh, as he dried his face. He looked up to a mirror. He shook his head slightly, as he left the bathroom. He shut the lights, and went to the kitchen.

He flinched slightly when the kitsune shoved bowl of noodles to his hands. "I was thinkin', maybe we could stay here for a night, whatcha think?" the kitsune asked, taking seat.

He twitched his ears slightly. "Why?" he asked as he sat down. "I dunno, just spend night together, just two of us. And boys will be fine, they're thirteen after all, they can take care of themself." the kitsune shrugged, before he shoved noodles to his mouth.

Tom shook his head slightly, as he ate his noodles. He was quiet as he was thinking. "Hm... I am not sure. Boys have never been alone for a night." he told.

Redd rolled his eyes slightly. "Ya know, before I came along, they were alone until, like midnight and two am." he told as he rised his brow slightly.

"I, uh... Well-" Tom murmured. The kitsune sighed as he leaned back. "I know those kids can handle bein' alone for a night, they're smart." he told.

He twitched his tail slightly. "I, know that." he sighed softly. "But what if something still happens? What if they accidentally cause a fire, and we are not there to help them?"
"Tom, love of my life, have I ever told ya that you worry too much?"
"Yes, you have, but-"

"Yeh, and you are worryin' too much. Don't you see that?" the kitsune asked tilting his head slightly.

Tom twitched his ears slightly. "I, guess so." he sighed softly as he stared at the noodle-bowl. "Yes, I guess we can have night just for us. But I need to first talk to boys, I'll do it after I get from work." he told.

Redd wagged his tail slightly. "Yeh, you can do that." he nodded. "But now, let's just eat so both of us can go back to work." he snickered.
