Redd twiddled his thumbs as he was sitting in the car with his mother. He felt even more awkward than what he felt being in same car with Jason.

He took glance of her. He wasn't sure at all what he should say, or should he let her drive in peace. He flinched slightly when she broke the silence, "So, where you live?" she asked softly.

Redd shifted in his seat. "Um, dunno really? My flight takes an hour." he shrugged slightly. He rised his gaze out of the window. "I live on island middle of nowhere." he murmured.

Opal twitched her ears slightly. "Flight? Then why we're going to trainstation?" she asked, stopping the car to side of the road.

The kitsune blinked in suprise, when the car stopped. "Oh, I just go there, so I can walk to docks." he said with soft chuckle. "It ain't so far away, so I can walk."

The vixen blinked. "Docks? Reddrick, what are you talking about? Sweetie, maybe we should go back home?" she said, tilting her head slightly.

Redd tilted his head slightly. "But it's a seaplane?" he said.
She nodded slightly. "I'll take you to the docks, and I won't leave before you get safetly inside that seaplane." she told.

He gave slight nod. "Sure, I don't mind." he said waving his hand slightly. He let out soft yawn. He leaned against the car window, closing his eyes.

Opal took glance of him, as she went back to the road. "You should not sleep now, you'll ruin your nightsleep." she told softly. He twitched his ears slightly, and let out soft huff.

"Pumpkin, may I ask something?" she asked. The redhead let out soft groan, as he sat straight up. "Yeh, sure." he nodded, rubbing his eyes slightly.

"You mentioned something about kids earlier. Does that mean you have kids?" she asked softly.

Redd blinked. "Uh... Well, they ain't really mine, they are my, partner's, kids." he said, with slight chuckle. "But, I guess I do have kids?"

Opal nodded slightly. "Who this, partner, of yours is? You haven't said much about them." she said softly. "They're treating you good?" she asked.

"Um... He, they're he. He has treaten me well, he's great." he told, as he looked out of the window. "He cares so much." he sighed softly.

He flinched slightly when his mother placed her right hand against his thigh. "He sounds lovely, I would like to meet him." she said, as she placed her hand back to the wheel.

"Hm... If you don't mind me asking, have you taken your medication in these past years?" she asked.

Redd scratched back of his head. "Well, no..? I didn't take any with me when I got kicked out, and I didn't know how to get 'em." he told.

"Besides, I have been fine for twenty years, so no need to worry 'bout it." he added with soft chuckle.

The vixen nodded. "Have you been thinking about starting your medication again?" she asked as she stopped the car. "And here we are." she hummed softly.

"Naa, not really." Redd shrugged. "But thanks." he said, as he unbuckled his seat belt. He was about to leave the car, but Opal stopped him.

"We can wait in the car, don't we? It's cold outside." she said. He twitched his tail slightly. "I guess so." he nodded, closing the door.

Forty-three minutes passed. Opal rised her gaze out of the window when seaplane landed. She gave gentle nudge to Redd's shoulder. "Sweetie, wake up."

Redd fluttered his eyes open. He let out soft yawn, as he rubbed his eyes slightly. He looked up. "Oh, well... I'll go now." he chuckled as he stepped out of the car.

Opal unbuckled her seat belt, and stepped out as well. "Reddrick, sweetie, wait." she called. He stopped, and looked over to her. "Yeh?" he asked tilting his head slightly.

She went over to him, and gave hug to him. "I hope you have safe flight." she told softly as she let the hug go. "Oh, and remember wash your face before you go sleep." she hummed.

Redd wagged his tail slightly as she brushed her thumb against his cheek. "Yeh, I'll try to remember." he chuckled softly. His ears pricked up when he heard familiar voice to call him.

He looked over to Tom, who stepped out of the seaplane. His eyes lit up. "Nooksie!" he chimed, as he ran over to him. He wrapped his arms around him, giving kiss to him.

Tom let out soft chuckle. "I missed you too." he said softly. "What are you doin' here?" the kitsune asked as he let him go. He placed his hands to the kitsune's cheeks. "Just wanted to make sure you get safely home."

He twitched his ears slightly, and looked over to the vixen. "Is she..?" Redd looked over to her.

"Mom, yeh." he nodded slightly. He took the tanuki's hand and dragged him with him over to his mother. "Mom, this is Tom, Tom mom." he told tail wagging.

Tom blinked as he needed look up to her. She was suprisingly tall, but still quite shorter than Redd. Well, atleast now I know why he's so tall...
"Um, good evening." he said as he offered his hand to give her handshake.

She gave gentle smile to him, as she gave gentle squeeze to his hand. "Very nice to meet you." she said, letting his hand go.

Tom nodded. "Yes, yes." he hummed. He twitched his ears slightly. "But I'm really sorry, we should get going right away." he told taking Redd's hand to his own.

Opal let out soft chuckle. "Oh, it's fine. No need to worry." she hummed softly. The tanuki nodded. "Well then, let's go now."

Redd nodded, his tail happily wagging as he followed him. "Bye mom!" he chimed waving his hand to her. The vixen smiled softly, and waved back to him.
