Redd sighed softly as he walked along the streets. He flinched slightly when his phone buzzed, he took it from his pocket. It was message from Jason.
He flicked his ears slightly. It was one word message, park. He shook his head slightly as he headed towards the park, pocketing his phone.
The kitsune twitched his tail as he stepped to dirt path. Why the hell they wanna meet at park..?
He walked down the path, taking look of his surroundings. It was quiet, it was Monday morning after all.He flinched slightly when his name was called. He looked over to his brother. He rolled his eyes slightly as he went over to him.
"You said we'll meet up tomorrow! What the hell was so fuckin' important that I needed to come here now?" he hissed. He twitched his ears slightly. "Where's Richard?"
"Dad had somethin' else to do." Jason told as he offered seat next to him. "Sit, I'm not gonna bite, I ain't an animal."
"Your ears and tail tells me otherwise." Redd huffed, as he sat down. He took pack of cigarettes from his pocket with his lighter. "So, he isn't tellin' you what he's up to?" he asked as he lit up his cigarette.
Jason snatched Redd's cigarette from him. "Nah, he has his own things to do, and so do I." he told as he took drag from the cigarette.
He twitched his ears slightly, as he lit up another cigarette. "U-huh... But you didn't answer why the hell I'm here now." he told.
"Dad changed his mind, he needs the money by this evenin'." Jason told. The redhead flicked his ears. "Jay, can I ask somethin'?"
He snorted. "Yeah, sure, ask away." he told as he waved his hand slightly.
"Why you really need the money? It has been almost a month now."
"You know, towards mom's bills. You don't trust us?"Redd blinked. "Why I would trust you and him?" he asked with slight hiss. "You know what he did to me when I was a kit." he hissed.
Jason rolled his eyes slightly. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just get to point why you are here, the money." he told with soft scoff.
Redd huffed softly, as he threw his cigarette on the ground. "No, there was somethin' you didn't tell me yesterday, and I wanna know what it was." he told.
Jason shook his head slightly. "It's 'bout mom," He shoved his hand to his brother's face, as he was trying to say something. "I ain't finished." he scoffed.
"She's fine, and she's gettin' better." he said. He was quiet for a while before he spoke again, "Thanks, I really mean it." he told as he gave slight nudge to his brother's arm.
"Oh, and can I have another one? I don't have my own pack with me." he added.
Redd blinked. He twitched his ears slightly. "Why you couldn't just tell me it on phone?" he asked. He stared at his brother, who only shrugged.
He shook his head slightly. "Whatever." he murmured, as he took his pack of cigarettes from his pocket. He handed the pack to him. "It has only few, so keep it." he told.
He got up. "But I'll get goin', I have few things to do before I go back home." he told as he took his wallet. He opened it. "How much it was again?"
"You always had bad memory." Jason snorted as he lit up cigarette. "It's still the same, 35 000 bells." he told.
"Mm..." Redhead nodded slightly, as he handed the bells to him. He flicked his tail gently, as he pocketed his wallet.
He was quiet before he spoke up, "Jay, look, I don't know, but, maybe you ain't as bad as I thought you were." he shrugged.
"Oh, and when next time comes, Richard doesn't has to be here, and you owe me a drink." he told as he turned around. "See ya." he added giving slight wave to the older one.
