Chapter fifty-nine.

Tom fluttered his eyes open. He sat up, slightly confused at first where he was. He got up from the bed. "Redd?" he called, as he took his phone.
Almost three...

He sighed softly as he left the room. "Redd?" he called again, still no answer. He went to the kitchen.
Where is he..?

The tanuki twitched his tail as he checked the house, but nothing. He felt sick in his stomach, as he stepped outside.

I don't know did he go get his phone, but I could call him.
He sighed softly, taking his phone from his pocket. He stared at the kitsune's number. He shook his head slightly, and pressed call.

He twitched his ears slightly, it went to voicemail. He slipped his phone to his pocket, and started to walk along the path towards Resident Services.

Tom ran his hand through his hair, and pulled Resident Services door open. He stepped in.

"Tom, what are you doing here?" Isabelle asked as she got up from her chair. He twitched his ears slightly and looked over to her. "Have you seen Redd?"

She tilted her head slightly. "Hm... Not since yesterday, but Nico said they saw him heading over to airport around noon." she told.

The tanuki nodded to her words. "Thank you." he said, as he left the building. He took his phone from his pocket, and tried to again call to the kitsune.

He sighed as the call went to the voicemail again. He walked down to the airport, and went inside. He looked over to man, dodo. He went over to the counter. "Hello, Orville."

The man looked from his computer screen to the tanuki. "Mr. Nook, what brings you here?" he asked.

The tanuki twitched his tail gently. "I, uh... Has Redd been here today?" he asked. "Kitsune, tall, orange hair."

"The lanky one, yes. He was here, left to city three or so hours ago." the dodo nodded, leaning against his counter.

"Flight back from the city should be here half past." he added, moving his hair from his face. "If you want, you can wait on one of our chairs."

Tom nodded. "Yes, thank you." he said as he walked over to one of the chairs.
He sighed softly as he took his phone from his pocket, and checked the time, 3.37 pm.

His ears pricked up when he heard the kitsune's voice, "Thanks cuz, I hope this really wasn't any truble for ya." he told to the pilot.

He stopped in his tracks when he spotted Tom. "Nooksie, hiya, whatcha doin' here?" he asked tail wagging slightly.

The tanuki got up from the chair he was sitting at. "I would like to ask same thing from you." he told, as he twitched his tail.

Redd twitched his ears. "Right, we can talk 'bout it late-" The tanuki cut him off, "No, now. I want to know now." he told with soft hiss.

He gave his tail slight flick. "I was just gettin' more paint, couldn't wait for next delivery." he told lifting bag in hand. "And I did get new pack of cigarettes too."

Tom blinked. "Well, you could have woken me up before you left." he told with soft sigh. "And have you eaten anything while you were gone?" he asked.

The kitsune twitched his ears. "You were so cute when ya were asleep, and you needed sleep." he told with soft chuckle. "And no, but! I can make somethin'!"

The tanuki nodded slightly. "Well then, let's go now." he said with soft smile.

"Cave, is it? Sounds nice place to live~"
"Everyone in Cave will suffer because of you, you don't want that, right?"

Fuck... I should have known they'll pull up somethin' like this...
Redd stared at the ceiling. He buried his face to his hands with sigh.

He twitched his ears slightly when the bathroom door opened. He sat up and looked over to his boyfriend.

"Redd, you should take shower today." the tanuki told. "Or are you going to go tomorrow when you wake up?" he asked.

The kitsune flicked his tail slightly. He gave slight nod, "I guess I'll go tomorrow. I'm sleepy now." he told as he pulled blanket over his head.

"Ooor~ we could go together and have fun afterwards." he purred, tail wagging side to side.

Tom let out soft chuckle. "Didn't you just say you are sleepy, hm?" he asked, as he placed his hands to his hips. The kitsune let out soft huff, "I ain't that sleepy."

"U-huh, well, perhaps we could." he hummed softly. He chuckled softly when the kitsune's ears pricked up. "That's yes?"

"Hm... No, it's not. But we can think about it tomorrow." he told with soft hum. He got groan from the kitsune. "Redd, dear, we both need some rest." he said as he sat next to him.

Redd murmured something as he buried his face to the tanuki's neck. He gave gentle kiss on his neck with soft sigh. "Unfair... You don't even sleep..."

"I, uh... I know that. But everything what happened yesterday, it would good to take easy for tonight." Tom sighed softly.

He gave slight nod. "I guess..." he mumbled. He was quiet before he spoke again, "Cuddles?" he asked as he gave gentle flick to his tail.
He let out soft chuckle. "Yes, cuddles." he nodded.
